Okay, another few questions:

1, how old were the original five X-Men at their introduction? 2, how old were they (OG team) when Banshee and the other "new X-Men" joined Cyclops in stopping Krakoa? And 3, how old were the original five when M-Day happened?

Sorry, these are details I just want to know for myself. Hope you don't mind the questioning, and keep up the good work!

According to [Uncanny] X-Men #1, Bobby Drake was sixteen when the team made its public debut. Furthermore he describes himself as a "couple" of years younger than his friends. We also know that Hank is somewhat older than Scott, Warren, and Jean. So, the short answer to your first question is: Bobby is 16, Warren, Scott, and Jean are 18, and Hank is probably 18 or 19.

It's not specifically clear whether Bobby is literally two years younger, or if "couple" is being used in a more figurative sense. I think it's safe to take at face value though, given that he is clearly presented as a member of their age cohort (along with Lorna and Alex); is meant to be reasonably close to the same age as Peter Parker and Johnny Storm (who should also be in the same general range as the original X-Men, as they were all teenagers at the same time); and lastly when Claremont revived the X-Men publication years later, Bobby was depicted as now comfortably a young adult, finishing up his accounting degree, at the same time that Jean was dealing with her first job drama, and Warren was off with the family business.

I also think it's safe to guess Hank is no more than a year older than the others. He's treated as a peer of his teammates rather than as a helper to the Professor, and seems comfortable as a member of the group even outside of X-Men training. Hank's more advanced academic pursuits with respect to his teammates are also shown to be a product of his intelligence and not simply him being in a more senior class, which I think furthermore point to him being loosely their age.

Later authors have occasionally given different ages to the first team, or at least to Scott. Bendis, who wrote them for the longest, identifies the younger Scott as sixteen when he first comes face to face with his modern counterpart (Uncanny X-Men volume 3 no. 12). In Matt Fraction's inexplicably titled Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Exodus, Scott gives a televised speech in which he claims to have joined the X-Men at age 15. And in Stuart Moore's X-Men Origins Cyclops, Scott is shown to have first met Charles when he was 17 (which works), but he also dates X-Men #1 as taking place when Scott was 21 (which contradicts every other version of the story).

I think it makes the most sense to just go with the original story, and take 18 as the team's median age. I think you could also just as well argue that the 15-17 number isn't in contradiction per se, but only reflects Scott's age when Charles started training him, or even when he first became Cyclops, and not his age in X-Men #1 when Jean joined the team and they confronted Magneto for the first time.

I know some fans also feel that the Bendis' run discounts the possibility that they're in their late teens, because he writes them so young, but I think that's kind of ridiculous. Bendis writes everyone like that, and in any case people are basically the same at 14 as they are at 34, so how much more mature does anyone get from 16 to 18, really?

I think having them remain (mostly) at 18+ is the most plausible reading of the original run, and the most consistent with their general dislike of Charles recruiting actual child soldiers in later classes, and as well with Marvel's editorial policy that the X-Men have existed for ten years in-universe in perpetuity and are now just shy of 30.

Second question: Their ages later on, when the All-New, All-Different team first formed aren't given directly, but they're easy to work out.

So, at time of first death, Jean was 24ish depending on when her birthday falls in the year. Scott and Warren are the same age, Bobby is two years younger, and Hank is probably around 1 year older.

How much time passes between Jean's introduction to Storm, Thunderbird, Wolverine, Banshee, etc and her death isn't specified, and during his first run, Claremont tried to maintain a pretense of everything occurring in real time, but already it had started to become untenable and can't be trusted.

At the time of Jean's death, the core Claremont trio of Storm, Wolverine, and Nightcrawler are still very early in getting to know each other as people, despite spending a lot of time together on page. So I think it's very likely that only a few months have passed between the new recruits joining the team and when Jean died and the remaining original X-Men make their departure. So I would just treat the Dark Phoenix Saga as taking place in the same year as the first mission to Krakoa, with Jean/Scott/Warren remaining 24 throughout.

Third question: To get to their ages at M-Day, I need to do something cataclysmically stupid. Something that I always tell everyone to never do when talking about the X-Men: I have to talk about how old Kitty Pryde was. She who has had three separate, non consecutive, fifteenth birthdays; and she who, famously, began the 1990s three years older than Jubilee, but still managed to end the decade two years younger than her. But, for once, bringing her into things is going to make everything else make more sense.

In X-Treme X-Men we're told directly that Kitty joined the X-Men five years ago. This is useful to know, because she joined the team on the exact same day that Jean died, so it has also been 5 years since that happened. X-Treme X-Men takes place at the same time as New Mutants volume 2, later to be relaunched as New X-Men: Academy X, which documents the first academic year of the Xavier School post its outing as a mutant boarding school. The two books ran parallel to one another and reference the same events in the lives of the original New Mutants.

Academy X concludes during the House of M crossover itself, and with the depiction of the typical US/Canadian school dances, and the inclusion of a year book issue, I think it's reasonable to conclude that the entire Academy X era takes place over about one full school year. So adding that together, M-Day should fall around 6 years after Jean's first death, making her, Scott, and Warren around 29-30, Hank 30-31, and Bobby 27-28.

If you want corroboration while also having the chance to experience a desperate urge to kick something, here's a cropped out section of the House of X/Powers of X timeline.

My version has a type mistake, where years 49 and 50 were incorrectly reversed. Genosha should be year 50, and Moira's "death" at 49. (IIRC later print editions fixed this) M-Day and Decimation would happen in year 51. The Year 47 event references the storyline beginning in Jim Lee's X-Men #1, and so the formation of the Claremont X-Men would likely be in Year 45 or 46. Scott and co being 30ish at Year 52, and working backwards...It actually all kind of lines up?

Which I hate! I hate that it works. It forces you to accept that everything after M-Day occurs over the course of just one single year. And it's so annoying that it's actually kind of possible, when you remember how much everyone loved decompressed storytelling in those days, and subsequently how almost nothing actually happened for a decade and a half of comics. But still! That's so ridiculous! Why do they do this!

Hope that helps! Thanks for the ask.

Wow! Thanks! This really does help!

Man, there's like twelve in-universe years between the X-Men's debut and M-Day....

(Also that moment you realize you were right about Jean's age when Wolverine was trying to take her from Scott.)

So, Kitty's like 18-19 on M-Day? Eh who cares. Old enough that the writers don't want to give us the answer XD

@blade-liger-4ever what do you think?

"Please you do not understand... Whatever happens, stay here where it is safe or find a way to return to the Outpost. No one should suffer because of a battle that is not their's to wage a fight in"-Terra

"Then help me understand, why?" - Optimus

"I have seen countless innocents die by Silas' hands. Good people, sometimes rivaling opposition that were unfortunate enough to not survive his evil that has destroyed everyone who dared to defy him, to the point of said destruction taking away the one I have ever...loved. All I have left now are memories of our bygone days together. I do not want you to become just a memory."-Terravega to Optimus after their unexpected reunion when she left to save Adrien on her own in" Reckoning" about her reasons on why she has to avenge Qamar, by killing Silas and not having him involve in her fight. Happens in "Hunter Moon's Rising"

@blade-liger-4ever @vitamaeternum @mk-wizard Hi Blade and everyone, it is Ines, I hope you are faring well.

Well once again I found another plot hole or should I say more plot holes that I recently noticed in "episode 6 of Masters and Students" that Skyquake can't transform, and had to scan a vehicle mode when in reality he has one! When I re-watch the episode I thought it was a temporary side effect of him being in stasis too long, and here's the extra kicker why didn't they introduce Makeshift early? He had Bulkhead's voice and could have easily being disguised into a Vehicon to bring Starscream some news or asking for the next instructions, fox cuss! Megatron even forgot about Makeshift as he didn't mention his death in Rock Bottom among quote 'Starscream's string of failures', Makeshift in the Align Continuity books, he was an expert in infiltration to the point it made Prowl and Ratchet findings realize that it was too late the imposter is in the group, and come to think of it I think Makeshift might have being the medic of the Decepticons long before Knockout and Breakdown showed up, cuss why didn't they introduce Skyquake,Makeshift,Knockout and Breakdown early in the pilot episodes or at least mention them by name to set up their appearance in the next episodes to give a good build-up for the next ones, and need I remind you that Soundwave was inconveniently nowhere to be found? When Starscream was interrogating Fowler, not to mention in the Communication Bridge where he spends most of his time trying to pick up any hints of the Autobot's whereabouts, like where was he when the human trio plus the Autobot trio were on board the ship? Like couldn't at the writers show a scene where Megatron instructed Soundwave to go and locate or awaken Skyquake, at least anything that excuses his absence, we saw him only when Scream gets pounded by Megatron for his failure, while Soundwave is scot-free. Makeshift in Transformers Universe was trusted by Megatron himself to infiltrate the Autobots rank to learn about them, and now he was reduced to nothing in a matter of seconds!!!! Seriously?!.

Those above are for "Con Job", "Darkness Rising from 1 to 5", "Masters and Students".

Same goes for "Loose Cannons", Wheeljack and Dreadwing do have Cybertronian alternate modes.

Also, Ratchet and Bumblebee should have at least said that they knew Makeshift because in the books they did, Bumblebee was there with Jazz when they were interrogating him with Optimus was present, not to mention Ratchet was the one with Prowl to come to the conclusion that they have a plant.

Abd Speaking of Loose Cannons, I do not understand how in the wolf cuss, Dreadwing did not react to his actual brother's killer who is none other than Bumblebee who ripped out his circuits and it was unnecessary for Bee to have him doing that punching a hole is enough but ripping him from the inside out like Bulkhead did to that poor Vehicon is too much!!! Not to mention that Optimus and Soundwave were there at least he could have scowled and yell at Soundwave for not doing anything for his brother as he was just observing, whereas with Optimus he would scowl at him for not only witnessing his brother's death but also calling out on him for how he gave him a dishonorable demise.

Darkness Rising Part Two "The army you have gathered during your three years in space?" - Where the cuss is this army Megatron and Starscream?!

And Vehicons and Insecticons were built up to be stronger than they looked they made short work of Cliffjumper, Arcee, Bumblebee, Wheeljack and Megatron only in episodes later to be gunned down by Energon plasma shots and that's it game over, like really?! And one got knocked out by Smokescreen and apparently played Robot Opossum.

Also, the prophecy of "The Rising Darkness" wasn't foreshadowed enough, like we only learn of it in "One Shall Fall" and the previous episodes had no whiff of a mention of it, they could have at least had Optimus and Ratchet discuss amongst themselves and Optimus asking Agent Fowler to borrow and access an Astrological Telescope πŸ” so that he could observe the planetary movement, possible convergence and their patterns of alignment when can also add that Arcee caught wave of their conversations and kept herself shut only to ask about it later on, on why Optimus keeps going to an observatory with Agent Fowler while Ratchet keeps checking Solar system planets and their movements on his monitor, regularly just as much for possible Energon deposits, I get we got this one detail in "Masters and Students" through Miko's Solar System and Cybertron and it's as small as Bean trying to shoot Fantastic Mr Fox 🦊 to smithereens.

And speaking of "Armada" why the cuss did the Insecticons didn't shoot the ship down with their combined fire power there were a lot of them and they could have gone for the back thrusters in which they could have shut down the Nemesis easily out of the sky, more so than a bunch of bony living dead Predacons that somehow managed to damage the ship and crash it down.

In "Flying Mind" Soundwave should have interjected with Knockout about injecting Dark Energon to the power core of the Vessel because in Fall of Cybertron or War for Cybertron Soundwave initiated the "Nemesis Protocol" in which Trypticon was redesigned to become Megatron's flying ship, he could have reminded Megatron of the possibility of said behemoth to awaken him will lead to retribution only to dismiss his concerns, and for the first time Soundwave is appalled by Megatron not listening to him which could have led to some intriguing conflict between right hand servo and his leader.

Also, in my opinion Starscream had the many opportunities to go back to Cybertron to at least rebuild the weapon system and some cities to make impossible for the Autobots to come back and take it back, and having to rely on Starscream to find a way to break it, while Megatron does the same due to his obsession on killing Optimus as he never had the satisfaction of slaying Sentinel again as he died in prison, that way when the bots do come back to try and find the Omega Lock it gives the heroes a challenge to further highten the stakes, not to mention Starscream was a better leader than Megatron was, because at least he killed Cliffjumper, and almost killed Arcee which is more than he did, Megatron never slain a single bot.

Also I give Smokescreen a gold medalπŸ₯‡ because at least he wasn't afraid to use and keep an Iacon relic with him which not only saved his life but also helped the bots get an Omega Key and get the Apex Armor, so of course he has a right to brag, the others even had two relics in store before the Apex Armor, Spark Extractor, Omega Keys,Star Saber, Toxic Energon, Resonance Blaster and Phase Shifter came into play, "The Polarity Gauntlet and The Immobiliser" yet they didn't use them, Arcee could have used it in Alpha, Omega which would have saved her from being slain by the Dark Star saber, she could have used said relic to take the key and search for Smokescreen only to be intercepted by Soundwave as he tries to get thing back from her to free Megatron, boom we get a Smokescreen, Arcee and Optimus vs Megatron and Soundwave and Laserbeak(I count him because I have respect for Minicons), but nope at least adapt it in book or comic form!.

Also in "Thirst" how the cuss Soundwave used the Space bridge he can only make Ground Bridges, only Autobot Outsider from Transformers Universe did that and weaponized it to his advantage, because Space Bridges need specific trajectories and structures as mentioned in the show to teleport to certain planets and places it is not an easy feat as ground bridging is.

Also, why the scanners of both Parties didn't detect a single Predacon bone until Season Three, Season 2 could have at least for example say Smokescreen after getting knocked out inside a pyramid, an object fell on him, say a fang or a talon, for some reason he kept it instead of throwing it away and would show it to Ratchet later on just as Optimus showed the skull to the group.

Also, the plan in Rebellion was a total disaster they expected that scattering forces around the glob would work instead of using a more strategic plan by digging underground and create a diversion with Team Wrecker to distract the army at the front, whereas Stealth Team goes for the sneaky approach, Ultra Magnus will go for the generator to disable it and will actually endure the fight against Megatron only to finally lose and they made Starscream look an idiot where said idiot is far more cunning and was able to almost find the Autobot base in a short amount of time more so than Soundwave and Laserbeak ever did, not to mention getting all three keys back thanks to the Red Energon he found.

It doesn't stop there, in "Synthesis" the writers once again treated Starscream like an idiot by having him shoot the wrong base, and he didn't even fought the aerial force and go check to see the remains of his enemies and bring them to his master, with also making him forget that his attack and presence might be detected as the Autobots managed to shield their energy signatures why not the cons as well huh?!

I am really starting to feel like Kowalski from the Penguins of Madagascar!!!!!

Anyhow let me know what do you think sorry for making this long, I had to get my feelings out on digital paper and to the one person who gets my frustrations better.

Thank you and here is my take on Skyquake @blade-liger-4ever @vitamaeternum @chaoticcreatorgardendean

I have to rewatch to give a proper opinion. I have admit though that Skyquake was a character I fell in love with as unlike with Optimus and Megatron, he is a TRUE enemy to Optimus in that there was actual hate between them that was mutual. In other words, he was the first person I have ever seen Optimus actually HATE and that says a lot because this is Optimus Prime we're talking about. The guy who loves all living things, but with Skyquake, the chemistry was really negative in a refreshing way.

And I'm not talking about hate in a cartoonish "you're the enemy so I don't like you by default" kind of way. I felt like there was something personal between Optimus and Skyquake of which their hatred for each other had an actual story. Sure, Optimus was willing to play nice for everyone else's sake, I felt there was this... bitterness even then which caught me off guard. Also, Skyquake and his brother Dreadwing are not the type to serve Megatron, and would have been open to doing things differently, yet the guy still found a reason to pull out his machine gun on Optimus. And keep in mind, Skyquake is not like most Decepticons. He is a high ranking admiral, he has honour and he is much more mature. He is not the type to go looking for trouble, bar fights and would rather not make a fool of himself, but with Optimus... he'll invent a reason to smash his face. If anything, according to some sources I have read up on Skyquake, the guy is actually diplomatic and openly disagreed with a lot of things Megatron said and did which means that he could have had the potential to become a lone wolf acting ally with friction.

Another thing about their meeting is that Optimus didn't seem very willing or proactive when it came to talking him down into calming himself down. This is something VERY left field for Optimus. And in my opinion, another one of TFP's most wasted opportunities which is right up there with killing off Breakdown, killing off Cliffjumper and not including Ironhide.

In all of the lore of Transformers I have seen (and I grew up with it), I have never, ever met a guy Optimus HATED and who genuinely HATED him back! And it is nothing like the hate Megatron has. Megatron's hatred for Optimus is more rooted in hurt and can be turned around. Skyquake's hatred for Optimus was outright venomous. I could think of so many ways Skyquake and Optimus' history could have been explored more as well as Skyquake's character because it's not every day you meet a Decepticon who had good in them, but TFP didn't want to break the status quo. I would have loved to have seen episode of Skyquake actually being a help and acting as an ally. And even getting to like the kids (keep in mind that he's as old as Ratchet meaning he could be grandpa). Yet we have these amusing moments where he and Optimus pick fights with each other and do little things to each other and for the group to be left puzzled because individually, both bots are likeable yet they hate each other.

The more I analyze these things, the more I realize TFP is not the perfect series I used to think it was and maybe that's not a bad thing. However, I have always lamented that Skyquake was introduced as Optimus' personal enemy yet strangely also be a Decepticon who can have fought with the good guys, but was just killed off just as soon.

It was just such a waste and it's why I hate episodes that tease.

Onyl thing I can say for the plot holes is, again, this video.

And on a similar note, the Trivia/YMMV for TFP on TV Tropes.

Beyond that though, I confess MK makes some valid points, though I don't recall Optimus actually hating Skyquake. From what I remember, Skyquake was like Tidal Wave in the "fanatically loyal to Megatron" category, though I'd have to look him up for more info. I never gave him much thought because 1 he was a Decepticon and I've only recently begun redeeming some 'Cons (emphasis on some), and 2 he was basically just introduced to be killed. I still don't understand why so many of these shows insist on introducing a character just to kill them. Pits of Kaon, Smokescreen was originally intended to be in Cliffjumper's place but die in the S1 finale, and while I'm immensely grateful that got vetoed, I'm still left scratching my head at that.

Like introduce them for plot reasons beyond episodic conflict that's resolved in the same ep, good grief.

As for the "alt-modes", that's a matter of money saving. Remember, each episode cost a million dollars to make. Spending excess money on creating new designs pre-Earth v-mode is INSANELY costly. That's why Orion Pax/Optimus Prime's Cybertronian model was left a painted piece, essentially.

I may have to refer you to MK from now on, or at least for the next few days. It's gonna be a bit wild, and after a point I think you two are on the same wavelength.

How to Write a Character

β†  Start with the basics, because obviously. Name. Age. Gender. Maybe even a birthday if you’re feeling fancy. This is step one because, well, your character needs to exist before they can be interesting. But nobody cares if they’re 27 or 37 unless it actually matters to the story.

β†  Looks aren’t everything… but also, describe them. Yes, we know their soul is more important than their hair color, but readers still need something to visualize. Do they have the kind of face that makes babies cry? Do they always look like they just rolled out of bed? Give us details, not just β€œtall with brown hair.

β†  Personality isn’t just β€œkind but tough.” For the love of storytelling, give them more than two adjectives. Are they kind, or do they just pretend to be because they hate confrontation? Are they actually tough, or are they just too emotionally repressed to cry in public? Dig deeper.

β†  Backstory = Trauma (usually). Something shaped them. Maybe it was a messy divorce, maybe they were the middle child and never got enough attention, or maybe they once got humiliated in a spelling bee and never recovered. Whatever it is, make it matter to who they are today.

β†  Give them a goal. Preferably a messy one. If your character’s only motivation is to β€œbe happy” or β€œdo their best,” they’re boring. They need a real goal, one that conflicts with who they are, what they believe in, or what they think they deserve. Bonus points if it wrecks them emotionally.

β†  Make them suffer. Yes, I said it. A smooth, easy journey is not a story. Give them obstacles. Rip things away from them. Make them work for what they want. Nobody wants to read about a character who just gets everything handed to them (unless it’s satire, then carry on).

β†  Relationships = Depth. Nobody exists in a vacuum. Who do they love? Who annoys the hell out of them? Who do they have that messy, can’t-live-with-you-can’t-live-without-you tension with? People shape us. So, shape your character through the people in their life.

β†  Give them a voice that actually sounds like them. If all your characters talk the same, you’ve got a problem. Some people ramble, some overthink, some are blunt to the point of being offensive. Let their voice show who they are. You should be able to tell who’s talking without dialogue tags.

β†  If they don’t grow, what’s the point? People change. They learn things, make mistakes, get their hearts broken, and (hopefully) become a little wiser. If your character starts and ends the story as the same exact person, you just wasted everyone’s time.

β†  Flaws. Give. Them. Flaws. Nobody likes a perfect character. Give them something to struggle with, maybe they’re selfish, maybe they push people away, maybe they’re addicted to the thrill of self-destruction (fun!). Make them real. Make them human.

β†  Relatability is key. Your character doesn’t have to be likable, but they do have to be understandable. Readers need to get them, even if they don’t agree with them. If your character never struggles, never doubts, and never screws up, I have bad news: they’re not a character, they’re a mannequin.

β†  You’re never actually done. Characters evolve, not just in the story, but as you write them. If something feels off, fix it. If they feel flat, dig deeper. Keep refining, rewriting, and letting them surprise you. That’s how you create someone who feels real.

Now go forth and write characters that actually make people feel something. And if you need a reminder, just ask yourself: Would I care if this person existed in real life? If the answer is meh, start over.

X-Men: Evolution OC for @guardiandua91!

Meet Faris Wolf, an Indonesian-Cherokee member of the X-Men!

Faris' family originally hailed from Georgia, where he spent much time out in the woods learning to hunt and survive in the wild. Unlike his numerous younger siblings and older sister, he was born with amber eyes, which were sensitive to the light and thus necessitated special sunglasses for Faris to wear outdoors. Inside tended to be fine for him, but he kept them close to hand for when it either got unbearable or he had to make a quick run outdoors.

Eventually, his father landed a better job in construction in New York, practically right in Bayville. Packing up their things, they left, and Faris comforted his kid brothers and sisters about the new life they were going to have up north. Although he would miss Georgia, Faris was rather eager to move, as he'd been feeling a bit constrained in their old home recently.

Once they'd reached Bayville and began moving in, Faris took to "prowling about town", as the family lovingly called it. He couldn't help it: it was new, there was lots to see, and it kept him close to his natural huntsman roots. In short order, Faris learned the ins and outs of the town, memorized the streets, and even hung around Bayville High and became acquainted with the students.

The first he met was Jean Grey, who boarded at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters.

They bonded pretty fast, and her sportsmanship meshed nicely with his outdoorsman nature. Soon, Faris enrolled at the school, and quickly ended up on the football team - though, to his confusion, quarterback Duncan Matthews was aggressive. An aggression that slowly started to become reciprocated when he saw the man's attitude toward Jean...

But Faris is nothing if not restrained and relaxed, and knowing that Jean could take care of herself, he let it slide.

But he couldn't get over the other man's behavior. And then, things started happening to Faris.

He began dreaming of hunting at night, seemingly on all fours. He'd start awake in the early morning, in a cold sweat and feeling his mouth dry. His muscles seemed to feel stretched and strained, as if he'd run a marathon when he was only practicing for the football matches or otherwise playing around outside. His body and limbs felt too big and too small at the same time, and his nails itched while his skin tickled from some unseen fur brushing against it.

And his eyes began to react to everything. One moment, he couldn't stand the brightness of a stray beam of light, and then the next, he didn't flinch at being out in the sun without his shades.

Faris needed to clear his head, and the only way he knew how to do that was to do what always calmed him down:

A late night hunt.

After getting permission and receiving his new state permit, Faris grabbed his gear, loaded his rifle, and set out in the woods a few miles out from Bayville. With a full moon shining above him and cool winds pushing against him, it was a ripe time for a kill.

And deep within him, something stirred.

Faris moved like the wind, tracking an eight point deer and preparing to fire. But then, something in him made him lower the rifle silently. He crept forward on hands and knees, the prosthetic limb snapping off as his clothes ripped, causing the deer to bolt. With a bellowing roar, Faris burst after the deer, fur replacing skin, hands and feet traded out for paws, a tail snapping out behind him, and claws extending to deliver the finishing blow before sharp canines sank into its neck, cutting off the deer's bleat as instinct took over.

Jean awoke at that moment, hearing thoughts reminiscent of Faris' before amber, feline eyes - so much like Faris', yet so animalistic - flashed through her mind.

She went to consult the Professor, only to find Wolverine there, already clothed and looking antsy. When she asked what was going on, she learned that Logan had just returned from some late night business when he'd heard a tiger's roar. There were no zoos in Bayville, nor were exotic pets allowed. Which could only mean one thing:

Bayville had a new mutant in town - one who didn't know how to control his or her powers.

Why thank you!

The modern notion that sex and pregnancy aren't connected to one another has done untold damage to the people of this world.

Like. People aren't sex dolls that you can use and then throw away as you please. They are people and there are natural consequences of this kind of behavior. Some of them (like getting pregnant) are the natural result of sex, some are the result of sleeping around specifically (like broken relationships & STDs), and some (like abortion and broken households) are the results of people trying to avoid the consequences of their actions.

Sex is the font of life through which new human beings are brought into the world, and the refusal to accept this truth has caused so much death and heartache. The divine is not meant to be abused as such, and it shows.

@blade-liger-4ever he or she are spitting facts, like why Movies, animated shows and tv shows portray this as normal? Like what the cuss?!

Simply put, we live in a fallen world that's obsessed with sex.

Remember what I was saying about the gay pairings and such with Transformers? The same goes for the original poster's point.

Awwwww I love him, so cool, thank you!

You're welcome! I'm glad you think so!!!

the three most important lessons God has been teaching me lately:

  1. Humility is key and self-righteousness is a deadly poison that you often do not realize has taken over your system until you get a big old wake up call (how I learned this: the hard way)
  2. "As for forgiveness, not permission" is a horrid way to approach relationships and only applies to a few things. If you're really angry, then you REALLY ought to keep your mouth shut. If you're overcome with emotion, you have even more reason to be careful what you do or say. In fact, you can avoid a world of extraneous, overcomplicated trouble if you watch your tongue. (how I learned this: said stupid things when emotional)
  3. You're never going to KNOW for SURE what's coming your way, so all you really have to do is be faithful in the small things that come up day to day and live humbly and joyfully and with zest for life. (how I learned this: gave into despair a few too many times)

For those who are not familiar, the Death Note is a supernatural notebook from the titular manga and anime. The basic rules of the book are as follows:

  • If someone writes the name of another person in the book while visualizing their face, that person will die.
  • The time, cause, and circumstances of death can be specified within reason.
  • If details are not specified or are not possible, the victim will die of a heart attack.
  • If the owner gives up the book, they lose all their memories of owning it.

For the sake of the poll, if more than one motivation applies, select the most important one. The definition of the options and the specifics of the fantasy are not particularly important here, I am mostly interested in the moral stances and rationale of other people.

Wow horrifying results.

I stand by that no one should have that power but am not shocked that most are for it in order to murder for political reasons using the Book With The Power No One Can Truly Withstand Abusing.

I strongly doubt anyone saying yes has anywhere near a clue what the weight of killing another entails and are drunk on their own self righteousness that will only result in more and more death as that need to feed and justify that righteousness grows.

"I don't need God to be a good person. Also I can justify murdering whoever I want because I am a good person."

This is the website that celebrates political deaths/murder all the time, I'm disappointed but not surprised

I remember during a Covid vaccine protest, someone was holding up a sign that said β€œgas the unvaccinated”. I remember in 2020-2021 people who chose not to get the vaccine were targeted, harassed, attacked and told they should be rounded up and killed. I remember them saying they should be the only ones required to pay for health care, they were told they couldn’t go to concerts and events, and were demanded to stay home and never leave. Even told to kill themselves.

Even as a vaccinated person myself that stuff sickened me. If we want to look at fascism and what it looks like, we have been seeing it play out since 2020 on both sides of the political spectrum. Let’s not pretend it just an extreme right thing.

I'm very close to taking the plunge into paid drawing requests instead of commissions. I think in the end I will be more comfortable with this. <:)

I have set up this sketchy image to kind'a get an idea of what my.... info sheet..? Might look like. I was thinking there are 3 different art style options, and 3 different levels of drawings that can be requested. The info that was put onto my ko-fi is as follows,

"How can this drawing be used?: I reserve all rights to each paid request that I draw, and I ask that they not be used as profile pictures or backgrounds. I intend to post most if not all the drawings that are requested here on my Tumblr blog sometime after completion. <:)

Refunds and payment?: All requesters will pay full price upfront. If for some reason I cannot complete the piece a full refund will be issued with an apology and hopefully a reasonable explanation :(

How long can you expect to wait?: I am new to this so am not sure how long it will take me to make each drawing.. or how I will handle the stress and my symptoms. But it cant be more than three days πŸ˜…"

I am still very lost and confused, and looking for information has been very overwhelming. So I was hoping to get any thoughts/advice and critiques before I make this official <:)

Thank you for reading and to anyone who makes any comments ❀️

The only thing you need to know about Tim becoming Robin is that he's the protagonist of a horse girl movie and Batman is the horse.

You know what, that actually makes sense. I've never read a flipping thing with Tim Drake, but that analogy is perfect.
