Hi, I'm Blair! I'm a cartoonist. :)

I made an original graphic novel called Monster Trail that you can purchase here. It's an all-ages fantasy story about a summer camp for monsters in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Magic on the mountain was thought to be dormant until three campers (a werewolf, a witch, and a vampire) seemingly wake it up! What follows is an adventure that celebrates friendship, mystery, and folklore.

My blog is a mixture of art, things that inspire me, and posts for whatever fixation I have currently. Right now it's The Bad Batch (and other Star Wars stories).

This blog will always be SFW/PG and I will tag anything heavy in case you want to block it!

Last Line Challenge

Thank you @orbitalmirror for the tag! I've been working on various pieces but lately the Inquisitor/CX thing has taken over priority. And so... (I always share a few lines since I write a lot of short ones in dialogue.)

“That was at Tantiss?” “It was.” “Well. While we’re there we can burn it all to the ground.” Consternation rippled through the Force. He turned to face her. “We will not be able to accomplish that on our own.” “Watch me.”

Thanks for the tag, @niobiumao3! I haven’t had much of a chance to work on much lately, but here’s the last line or two I wrote of the one fic I’m working on that I will finish eventually 😅

This was right in a way nothing had been for as long as he could remember. Taking it apart could wait.

@heyclickadee Thanks for thinking of me! I haven't gotten the courage to write any fics (yet) and I haven't been drawing much, but I did sit down and suddenly write 1500 words this morning about my goober Star Wars OCs. I'd love to share more about them eventually. Here's a snippet:

“Dude!” It was Harper, squatting right at the divide between torrential water and dank cave, looking extra small in a huge raincoat. “Are you alive in there?” “Yes,” Whiskey yelled back over the rain. “I’m alive??” “Okay,” she said. “Good.”

Gosh I hate grind culture. My little sister just started medical school and all of her orientation leaders are like “you absolutely cannot have a life WHATsoever you WILL have to give up EVERYTHING besides this program say GOODBYE to your hobbies and relationships” and now she’s calling me feeling guilty for running and going to the grocery store and that’s just WRONG! And that is exactly what I was told starting law school as well, and rejecting that mentality was the best thing I ever did but it was so hard not to buy into. Anyway if any of you are in an intense academic program PLEASE take time to sleep and eat and exercise and maintain your relationships and keep up your hobbies! you are not a robot who exists solely to study and I promise that living a life and staying physically and mentally healthy is not going to make you fail

Workaholism is not just a “millennial quirk”, it’s a very real psychological problem that should not be normalized and praised. Diligence and self-realization? Awesome!!! Working so much you forget to eat, sleep and socialize? Not okay under any circumstances.

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

bonus it ALSO fills that dopamine hit of in-person shopping. “oh I didn’t go in looking for this but hmm, I’m tempted… I can’t resist… oh ho ho I have made some irresponsible decisions at the library today [carrying my stack of ten random books]” and then it doesn’t even matter if you don’t like them because a) free b) you’re gonna give them back anyway

Librarian here! Please please please please PLEASE do this! We don’t have any way to know if you read them, and we don’t care! We’re happy to see those books go out because that helps our stats. And that affects how much money we can get.

So grab that silly paperback romance, and maybe this new YA fantasy, oh and check for the new movies too! And don’t forget to check Libby and hoopla for music and ebooks and e-audio.

#these past few months i've really enjoyed putting books on hold for this reason#it feels like ordering a new toy except it's free and it won't take up space in my house because i'll be returning it#it's great

As promised, the Bad Batch!

I’m kind of obsessed with the idea of clones taking holos after missions they’re particularly proud of. Also, I love the Dad Batch as much as the next, but I ADORE their Frat Bro days!

(One day I’ll stop drawing clones in T-shirts and put them in proper gear, but today is not that day.)

Decided to try my hand at drawing Hunter in his Ghost Agents comic outfit! I imagine they're doing a montage where he keeps walking out of the dressing room in different fits and the others say yay or nay. But nothing will impress Crosshair.
