I wanna talk about crazy Sam some more.
Ruby apparently studied Sam for years to figure out the best way to manipulate him.
She landed on "leather jacket, jeans, necklace, muscle car, and snarky personality."
Ruby 1.0 failed beta testing because, as a demon, she realized she'd missed a few nuances.
Ruby 2.0 added "nurturing/caregiving streak, call him Sammy, establish a blood bond with him, also sleep with him."
Like, anytime anyone talks about Sam being better-adjusted or more independent or less codependent or whatever, I want to pull up Season 4, and remind everyone that Ruby's carefully thought-out plan to manipulate Sam was to be a female version of Dean that Sam could sleep with.
