IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I have certain /r tags blocked. muted. whatever the term is. and I avoid those ships when possible. I have tumblr savior so I literally do not see any posts with those ship names in them, meaning I am completely unaware of them. if I could mute them in comments so I don't see them there too I would but alas. nothing I can do about that. personal boundary thing. ^^ Everything I talk about is platonic unless I make it very clear with a /r tag that it's romantic.

On a related note, please do not reblog any of my posts with a ship tag or something like that unless the original post is a ship post. Thanks!

I do not ship characters unless I know the creators are fine with it. That's just how I've decided to roll.

Tone tags are appreciated but not necessary. will ask if I need clarification.

in general don't be rude I'm sure we can communicate respectfully about things!

not sorry for disappearing for a moment I'm a bit locked in and also going to see if I am rizzful this weekend. will I pull? tune in to the next episode of buzzfeed unsolved

woah this character is so cool i wish they were covered in blood their whole body trembling with a look of absolute horror on their face as theyre struggling to breathe in panic

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤlittle theorizing timeee~~~

beware, spoilers for i spent 100 days hidden in a secret minecraft base.

(ps ps. i didn't do a post for the other eps, but fuck yeah, FUCK YEah, i called it. the director is sooooo meta. fist up in the air moment.)

yo just had an epiphany. what if to escape the director's grasp, you have to leave the stage. break the fourth wall. become the audience. but then what happens to the play, right? a story needs it's protagonist. so to escape this omniscient being that is the director, who stages and writes out your fate, you make a deal. to hand your protagonist halo to someone else. make someone else the protagonist, and you shall get to sit and watch the play and retire acting.

hey. jamatop. how did you know so many exploits? was it because of the protagonist halo? did they fall on your lap because the director thought it fitting? did you hand the exploits down to spoke, along with your role as the protagonist of the director's play?

I'M GETTING TOO CRAZY BUT I'M COOKING I THINK!!! i don't know who would hand the role down to wemmbu and parrot in this case but . lemme cook .

Rare uu wip . Wifies hanahaki.

“It would be easy,” Ash murmurs, and the softness of his voice almost sounds like compassion, “to rid yourself of this. So easy. I could have you brought to specialists in the next minute.”

Your helmet rattles when you shake your head no. It’s easier than speaking and feeling the roots squeeze your rib cage and organs.

“This is what I call pathetic, Wifies. Your inability to cast away the things that hurt you.” Ash taps his fingers on the table as he stares at you, through you. “Don’t you want to live?

You shake your head again.

Ash huffs, resting his chin on his hands. “You have my permission to speak. Tell me why.”

“I wouldn’t be living,” you say. Your voice is a shambling, scratchy mess, barely louder than a whisper. Honey can only do so much to soothe the pain.

Silence. Ash looks thoughtful, or maybe just drunk—on both alcohol and power. The flask at his hip is always full, and the copper-trimmed guard always stands sentry behind him.

tragedy is my favorite genre which is unfortunate bc it's easy to suck at so so so so so so bad

people will be like "here's a tragedy" and it's just characters dying in gruesome and punishing ways with no story-time to even become genuinely attached to them or their arcs so you're just like oh. sorry that happened I guess...who are you btw?

PUBLIC COMMENTS ARE OPEN FOR GENDER IDENTIFIERS ON US PASSPORTS

Right now, you can submit a comment for consideration on the proposed changes to US Passport law that will include requiring a change from "Gender" to "Sex" on all passports and require that people identify with their sex assigned at birth.

THIS IS THE LAW THAT WOULD BAN TRANS PEOPLE FROM UPDATING THEIR IDENTIFICATION

Please take a moment to click through and submit a comment. This kind of thing is fast, easy, and is one of the many ways to show your support of the trans community to the people that need to know how many of us there are.

YOU HAVE TWO MORE WEEKS TO COMMENT

This is an excellent low effort way to make a clear statement to the government that you do NOT support the unnecessary and expensive process of changing everyone's passport just so that a tiny population that has done no measurable harm to society can feel afraid.

Public comments are one of the many tactics we have to show the people in power how many of us are willing to stand up and say fuck this. Stand up and say fuck this in every single place that you can.

Will accept comments up to March 17, 2025.

this isn't canon (yet) to coffeeshop au but i just love double identities

anyways parrot and wifies discussing a book. whose book? heh

--

“Why?” The question fell out.

Wifies furrowed his brow. “Why is it one of my favorite books?”

Parrot nodded. Maybe Wifies would say that he’d forgotten to take it off the favorites shelf, that it was his favorite only because of nostalgia, anything other than—

“It’s a thoughtful story,” Wifies said, words steady and assured. “That, and the language used is just beautiful.”

He paused for a moment. Parrot took a sip of water to calm his stomach.

“I do worry a little, though,” Wifies murmured. “The second book—From Heavens—is…a lot heavier, a lot more visceral, and the author’s gone radio silent since it was released. I hope they’re doing okay.”

The air tasted like cigarette smoke and bitter ashes. It was 4:47 AM, and the iron balcony railing was going to leave indentations in Parrot’s skin.

Above him, the sky arched indifferent with sparsely scattered stars. The light pollution wasn’t too bad, but it still hid many of the white pinpricks that would otherwise be visible.

When had his life started coming apart, darkness spilling out like the space between the stars? When had his love for writing turned into a chokehold, into bills that needed to be paid?

Just a little more. I just need to hold on for a little longer.

“Parrot?” Wifies’s voice was quiet. “You there?”

Parrot stared into his wineglass, seeing his rippling reflection in the redness there, then at Wifies.

“Yeah,” said Parrot. “Sorry. I zoned out for a second. What were you saying?”

“It’s nothing,” Wifies said. “Just…never mind.”

“I want to know now.” Parrot could never stop his curiosity, even when it bit him.

Wifies smiled slightly. “Alright, then. I was just saying that I wish I’d attended a book signing for Over Ocean now. X2 never did any events for From Heavens, so I never got to see them in person.”

Parrot huffed. Wifies had met X2 already, unknowingly, and that was the only way he should meet X2, because X2 was not as admirable as he seemed to think.

But then he looked at Wifies’s face, at the widened eyes that Parrot now knew indicated confusion. Of course. Wifies didn’t know what Parrot found funny. Parrot pictured Wifies’s confusion turning into hurt and his stomach curdled.

“We all make decisions we regret,” Parrot said. “I’m sorry you didn’t get to meet X2. Maybe h—they’ll come back in the future? Is the series a trilogy? There could be a third book then, and maybe there’ll be an event for that one.”

There will be a third book. There must be one.
