40, 48, 49, and 50 for Darrian and Zev <3
40. How far is the Warden willing to go for their LI?
Oh, Darrian is willing to do almost anything for Zevran. He'd die for him. Kill for him. Risk unknown consequences of a dark ritual in order to continue living with him at his side. You know, the usual.
48. If the Warden survives, how does their LI react to being with a living legend? Does something change in their relationship?
Darrian is enough of a reluctant hero that, while people see him as "the Hero of Ferelden," he doesn't go out of his way to encourage that sentiment. If anything, he's intimidating enough that I would say most people know not to push their luck with him if he tells them to get lost. I could see Zevran joking about the "perks" of being with a hero, but he wouldn't do anything that would make Darrian uncomfortable. I could see him actually being a little bit protective of him in the sense of making sure no one crosses his boundaries, not that Darrian is incapable of taking care of himself. In general, I don't see it changing their relationship that much, and that's how they like it.
49. Have their met the other's family? If so, how did it go?
Zevran has met the Tabris family in my canon! Not the entire family that I've expanded upon, but I loved the concept so much that I wrote a whole fic about it. Basically, it went well enough (until they found out how these two met pfft). Shianni is about as teasing and protective as you would expect a cousin/sibling figure to be, and Cyrion is supportive, so long as they make each other happy. Soris has quite a bit going on himself at the time, so he's not as involved or invested as the other two are, even though he does still care about Darrian deep down. It's complicated with him.
50. How does the Warden and their LI act when the other is away?
They miss each other, of course, but I would say they actually function well on their own individually. I don't see either of them being particularly clingy in the sense that they have to be around each other 24/7. While they do spend majority of their time together, does Darrian need to be there if Zev has an assassination to pull off or some business with the Crows that he needs to take care of? No. Does Zevran have to stick around all the time while Darrian conducts his business as a Warden, or when he eventually takes up a role in the mage rebellion? Also no. They trust each other to ask for help if they need it, and they can rely on each other to come assist them if they call. Plus, Zev might say that the best thing about being apart is what happens when they finally see each other again. 😏
