he/they pronouns (tho any work, i dont rlly care that much) || matching pfps w @lordofthefroggs (๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ) || multifandom || this blog is mostly reblogs, art, and occasional ranting || transmasc/genderfluid/genderqueer || aroace || chronically ill/physically disabled, neurodivergent/mentally ill || goth and punk || will block if I think you're a bot or an asshole || this blog is safe for demonized disorders (run by someone w BPD and NPD) || ๐Ÿ‰ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ

Being on the internet with OCD is like โ€œI want to post a picture of my outfit because I look bomb but what if my full address and National Insurance number is written in the reflection of this random public bathroom mirror and I didnโ€™t noticeโ€

A little reminder that the "scary" neurodivergents belong in the community too. The ones with intrusive thoughts. The ones who seem self-centered.

The people with ocd, bpd, npd. Stuff like that. They belong here too.

nobody should be excluded because of the reputation of their specific diagnosis but I think it's also pretty important to recognize that nobody is owed inclusion in any space if they act abusively. you need to treat the communities you belong to and their individual members with respect to expect the same back. and yes that's gonna lead to a disproportionate number of people with e.g. NPD being excluded from neurodivergence communities but imo it's better than telling people "sorry your abuser has a right to be here but you can leave if you want"

Hey actually NPD havers aren't more abusive on average, it's kinda feeding into the "bad reputation" to insinuate that if we excluded abusers we'd be excluding a "disproportionate" amount of NPD havers. That's just not true, and only perpetuates the stigma that OP was talking about. Most abusers aren't narcissists, and most narcissists aren't abusers. And bringing up abusers is odd in this context considering this post isn't about abuse or abusive behaviors.

Im sorry but it is so funny how people outside of tumblr view us. Like why are the tiktokers treating tumblr like some professional ass website you need to do extensive prep before you begin posting on. And the follower farming advice is so fucking funny to me when this is the website where people actively hate getting new followers

if you've never engaged with a creative art on a regular basis you need to understand that it requires concerted effort to get into "the groove" to make something and every second that it takes to get into that groove causes physical pain, but the only thing worse than doing it is not doing it.

Trans visibility has gotten scarier for years now, and the trans people celebrating today are extraordinary. I love every single one of my trans siblings, including the ones who don't want to be visible today or can't be. Stay safe, and don't let them take your pride away from you.
