Erebus & Terror (Chronological story involving royalty whump, lab whump, noncon surgery/body modification)

Prince Erebus is captured at the fall of his kingdom and ends up in the hands of an eccentric scientist.

Immortality Blows (Collection of oneshots involving immortal whump, gore, sometimes amputation or lab whump)

Castys is immortal, but this gets him into horribly painful trouble more than anything. He deals with this via copious amounts of sarcasm.

Prettiest rock imo would have to be anorthosite pictures don't really do it justice but here you are anyway

To be extremely nontechinical, it makes beautiful shiny blues and greens and yellows when you rotate it it's peak

Most common rock...probably granite because it's very high in quartz which is definitely the most abundant mineral and THAT is because it is very hard to break down. Those SiO2 bonds are strong af and don't like letting go ever

These are Azurite (Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2) and Malachite (Cu2(CO3)(OH)2)! They're both copper carbonate minerals, and frequently grow together where copper is being oxidized. I have a really nice piece of these guys myself (it's mostly azurite) but i am too lazy to go upstairs and take a picture 💕

Honestly i never know what to say when people ask this I'm not neurodivergent enough to be like vibrating and wanting to yap for 8 hours about rocks i'm much better at answering specific questions people have or talking about a thing they're curious about

Fact: metamorphic rocks are "graded" based on how much they have been altered by heat/pressure/fluids, with low grade being not altered much and high grade being heavily altered. The rock that was altered is called the protolith, so for example limestone is a protolith for marble.
