i think too many people operate under the assumption that emotions are some frivilous fantasy of the mind and have no impact on the physical world, which is a cute thought when Humans are an animal that can die from being kinda stressed out

Bestie, I have never known a mental health care professional who set their own rates. When you pay that bill, you are paying the clinic. Not your therapist. They all work for someone else, who sets their rates and their wages. And their rates and their wages are SEPARATE THINGS. And frequently, actually nearly always, they aren't being paid enough, just like you aren't. I don't think I've met a single therapist who was getting paid a reasonable amount.

So yeah, like the screenshot says, we gotta make this cheaper, and we gotta make sure that the actual workers are paid enough.
