New instagram post from Gavin, it has the eddie and chris stills in it ๐
More buried alive foreshadowing?
eddie in sunglasses is my fave eddie. you cant see his pretty brown eyes BUT as an exchange the sunglasses imbue him with the cuntiest energy in the world
i mean c'mon now
#He looks so happy :')
it could mean nothing, really truly nothing, but the last episode they connected the calls to the main plot. a kid calling for help about his dad. a driver deciding he's not gonna hide anymore. now we see infidelity. cousin of the groom/fiancรฉ. someone hiding. so if they DO try connecting the calls to the main plot (again it could mean nothing), what lore are they dropping??
Kenneth Choi on the set of 8x13: Invisible.
These have been removed from the website now as well as the still of the scene ๐ญ
if Chris has a panic attack at the tournament, it'll tie into 8x01 when Buck felt overwhelmed and heard Eddie's voice in his head, but will also tie into Eddie's panic attacks. it brings a new perspective of 'Chris is thriving' because Eddie could pretend that he was thriving/doing fine with Ana too, right? but he wasn't and he knew that. this would become a way for that to come back as a conversation.
pardon the shitty screenshots from a totally legal streaming website (i'm european ok) but did anyone else notice the rainbow on Ezra's bag in 8x12?
I know it's not terribly obvious but it's also... not not obvious? And considering this is Chris's friend, who gets into Eddie's uber, I wonder if this is foreshadowing.
Or better said, I hope it's foreshadowing because actually I'd love a scene where Eddie openly supports a gay kid and heals a part of his own self in the process.

wait. what if Bobby gets caught in an explosion and they're not able to identify the body but there's some piece of verifiable evidence that makes them believe it's him. so they grieve and mourn and hold the funeral. but it wasn't him because he escaped the main blast and it's the Giarusso firefighter who is actually dead. meanwhile Bobby is recuperating somewhere/trapped somewhere and has to find his way home.
Chris IS a perfectionist in general. but he has never been told that he HAS TO win.he was in a science club and he liked surfing lessons and he's particular about engineering projects at school. but it's never been to fulfill others' expectations. he was more concerned with not feeling embarrassed in a kid way regarding the skateboard but never about disappointing an adult. but now he's here and his grandparents are doing so much for him and he can't upset people, can he? he can break a salad bowl with Eddie. but he can't show that side with his grandparents. his grandfather taught him chess. could be something nice but now he's in a tournament and isn't there something to prove? can he let people down now? he's never done that before, what happens now? he can break a salad bowl with Eddie, be frustrated and a kid. but he can't show that side with his grandparents, can he?
okay but I'm percolating for a minute about Chris and chess. it started out as something Ramon was teaching him. a bonding activity. but then there's a coach - hobby turned into something professional. then there's a club and a tournament. but it started as something just between a grandfather and a grandson. Chris liked surfing, he took classes, but it wasn't pressure. he bonds with Buck over making cookies but it's not a pressure. chess also started out simple clearly, and then there's a coach and then there's a tournament. which would be fine but is the enjoyment still there? or is it just pressure now?
