I just want you to know that the American Bar Association has come out against Trump's blatant violation of the law and is calling for all lawyers to do the same.

Also remember that letting people cover their faces in public did not lead to everyone getting robbed

And also remember that letting people work from home, and attend virtual concerts, and go to meetings via zoom, and go to conferences virtually, and go to religious services virtually, and go to all kinds of other events virtually and thus, allowing for disabled and chronically ill folks to participate in society like never before…

But now, folks want to take so many of those options away all over again…isolating disabled and chronically ill folks from society again. It’s cruel…taking something beautiful like that away from us after showing us that something like that was possible this whole time since we have had the technology. And now that we know for a fact that the technology exists, non-disabled and non-chronically ill people want to take that away from us?

It’s beyond cruel.

If you’ve never been house bound or bed bound for months or years on end like I have? Or like others like me have? Then you have no idea what this feels like. None.

No offense but 20 years hard labor for all Trump voters.

I am sorry to report to you as a woman in trade that all the men who voted for Trump ARE doing hard labor and voted against their best interest because they have the intelligence of a gnat

Not manual labor. Hard labor as in "break rocks all day in the hot sun."

One of the questions I was asked in the ER was “are you experiencing any depression right now” and I laughed, like full on belly laughed

“I feel like most people are right now? Like turn on the news for 5 mins”

Also I was there for a broken ankle on April Fools day which was the cherry on top

HE BROKE THE RECORD

Senator Cory Booker just broke the all-time record for the longest Senate floor speech, speaking for over 24 hours without a pause (no food, no bathroom breaks, only water to drink) as a protest against Trump and Musk and what they're doing.

The previous record was set in 1957, when Strom Thurmond spoke for 24 hours and 18 minutes protesting the Civil Rights Act.

Senator Booker has blown past that record, currently at 25 hours and still speaking as of 8 pm local time. Respect.

NJ Democrat senator Cory Booker takes the floor in protest of Trump/Musk, "saying that he will keep going “'as long as I am physically able'.”

“I rise with the intention of disrupting the normal business of the United States Senate for as long as I am physically able,” Booker said at the outset of his remarks. “I rise tonight because I believe sincerely that our country is in crisis.”

“In just 71 days, the president of the United States has inflicted so much harm on Americans’ safety; financial stability; the core foundations of our democracy. “These are not normal times in America. And they should not be treated as such in the United States Senate.” -source

I am posting this at 2:30am EST. He has been speaking since 7PM EST. This link (at this moment) is to a live stream.

FUCK YEAH, JERSEY!
