You know, if this misundertanding keeps happening i will just change my username and that's it. But i dont really want to, is not fair.

I've had to deal with shit like this before because people are so quick to assume anything and make irresponsible accusations instead of stopping to deal with the situation properly.

And to top it off, the people who did this never made a public statement that it was their mistake! They NEVER apologized to me. And that still bothers me a lot to this day.

Again, and i am pinning this for once, DO NOT ASSUME MY IDENTITY. DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH THAT PROBLEMATIC USER. WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON.

I hate it when someone ships abusive killermare and then says ‘Oh, but Nightmare has trauma!’ As an excuse for these actions. Nightmare’s trauma doesn’t excuse what he had done to Killer. It could be a reason, but it never excuses what Nightmare has done. It doesn’t make what happened to Killer okay.

I completely understand! I apologize if this came off as me saying it’s mutual, I meant people excusing how Nightmare treated Killer (when talking about Nightmare abusing Killer) because of Nightmare’s trauma, which I haven’t seen in a while but I believe I saw someone trying to do this once, however my memory is hazy. I apologize again if I came off in any negative way, I didn’t mean to.

I was trying to make a point that we shouldn’t excuse someone abusing someone else because the abuser has trauma. What I meant by ships is that if someone is shipping this and making it seem romantic and cool despite the dynamic it is being portrayed in is abusive and toxic.

It is possible to write Killer and Nightmare in a way that’s more enjoyable, I completely agree! It doesn’t have to be romantic!

Thank you for being polite and correcting me, I will do better in the future! I apologize if I didn’t catch the tone of the message, I struggled with it!

I'm glad to see they've stopped portraying Lust as a sexual offender, as if it were a joke. Fuck you if you think he'd harass anyone. He'd be the first to beat the shit out of you if you overstepped someone's boundaries.

Underlust had good ideas with poor execution, and maybe it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm sick of the concept being demonized so much just because of the creator's mistakes.

I've been saying this shit for years. YEARS. Nsfwshamecave isn't even HERE anymore yet too many people act as if they are, several years after they left the fandom and Underlust behind. It's about time to move the fuck on. You can make another Underlust, one without the background you hate it for.

This god damn AU was left to the fandom for a reason. Do something with it. It doesn't have to stay the way you hate it.

Both of them so incredibly paranoid and suspicious. It's like mixing sodium with water: volatile, reactive, dangerous. They make each other worse, undeniably. But still, no one knows the other like they do. They judge each other harshly, yet there's a silent, unspoken understanding between them, so deep neither of them is comfortable acknowledging it. Seeing the other feels like looking into a mirror: a reflection of what they could’ve become, a shadow of what they once were. And with it, the bitter comfort of thinking, at least I don’t look as bad as he does.

Their personalities fit together so well too. They both drown in the same paranoia, but it manifests differently—two sides of the same rusty coin. A feeling so heavy, so all-consuming, it leaves no room for air.

And yet, somehow, the only solace they find is in each other. Because there is nothing else. Because they “hate” each other so openly, it becomes a kind of honesty. A brutal transparency. They don’t need to pretend, there’s nothing to hide. No expectations to meet, because there were never any to begin with.

And that's so deeply comforting, it's scary.

Transcript: Canon dreamtale makes me so mad because the writing is SO ASS. No worldbuilding, the magic sistem makes no sense, there are more plot holes than plot points and the au itself is invasive to the multiverse and how it works. The fandom made me like it, not the creator. And that already says a lot.

If the fandom can write your au better than you, mayne you should consider that youre doing something wrong

The creator only focused on making dream be "the good guy!" And the "innocent victim who did nothing wrong" that she made him a mary sue. If a character is always good, always right and their toughts and morals arent challenged you cant have character developement. It’s said that dream struggles, but never shown.

"The villagers used him!" Cool. Show it.

"Hes too kind and it has consequences on him!" Oh really? It’s funny that you say that because you NEVER SHOWED IT.

Same thing with nightmare. She killed him off on purpose by making corrupted not eve nightmare anymore. Passive is only a victim and nothing else. Its never showed how the apple incident affects nightmare. His life is barely shown.

And the thing that pisses me off the moat is ink and dreams friendship breakup. It doesnt do any justice to dreams character and villanizes ink.

Its so obvious that joku just broke them because of the conflict the had with comyet. Comyet didnt want to make drink canon, joku wasnt happy with that and decided to get ink out of the way out of pettiness. At this point dream might as well be a self insert

I dont like driller, sorgy driller entusiasts in the public. Nothing against yall but,,,They dont inspire nothing to me...at all. I would rather to see that dynamic with other character, like Color. I dont pay too much attention to them daily, but i do find their friendship truly cute and i have seen pretty cool ideas that are more appealing that "saviour x needs to be saved" that normally everyone slaps on Driller. Is just not for me, that's it. And is okay!

While I don't think any Dream ship should portray Dream as a savior, he isn't a savior, nor should a partner be one. I'd rather to stop treating him like a divine thing and instead treat him more like the poor, traumatized person he is. Dream needs help as much as the people he's helping all the time.
