HMS Surprise is a modern tall ship built at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada. The vessel was built in 1970 as HMS Rose to a Phil Bolger design based on the original 18th-century British Admiralty drawings of HMS Rose, a 20-gun sixth-rate post ship from 1757.

Under chief engineer Tem Ray, the Federation launches the V Project, a top-secret initiative to develop full-fledged mobile suits.

The V Project absorbs the already in-progress RX Project, adopting the numbering scheme used for its prototypes and its use of the Core Block System. By association with the RX Project, development of assault lander SCV-27A is also assimilated by the V Project.

20th anniversary of new who what the hell

it was how i started watching doctor who so it feels apt to post all my new who portraits i've done so far, plus some extra art of eccleston i've done :D

i can't quite remember but i think the first ep i watched was one of the slitheen ones when it first aired, don't think i started with 'rose' aha. back when i wasn't online much if at all and had to wait many months for each series to air here in nz

but doctor who is one of the main things that kept me drawing, can literally track my progress with drawings of david tennant's doctors, so it has a special place for me and i'll always come back to it

here's to many more years to come 🥳
