A little headcannon of mine based on a conversation I had with @here-comes-the-moose
What if the reason Sami is so quiet compared to Jax and Eva is because she's so much more tired compared to them
Throughout her time on the show Sami is the one responsible for looking after Baryn who's a literal toddler, bear in mind Sami is barely 8/9 years old
Now that task is tiring enough for adults, just imagine how tiring it would be for a young child in an environment like Tantiss
This headcanon actually broke me when you told me this I just sat in silence for a bit because it made me so sad.

What if a contributing factor to this is, due to her blood constantly being drawn and most likely only being provided with the most minimal of nutrients, she’s also become anemic.
Because speaking from personal experience, your energy can become so depleted so easily. You need naps in the middle of the day. even simple things become exhausting. And when you’re regularly losing blood, *cough* in in my experience it’s because of heavy periods but in this case, the droids are taking samples what, two times a day? Your iron is stored in your red blood cells and my guess is that she is losing them faster than her body can replenish them.
Conclusion, lower energy levels, not very engaged during interactions and, pretty much all the time, tired

One quick thing to note for this: I think Jax is closer in age to Omega than he is to Sami or Eva. (Listen to his voice and try to tell me that his voice isn't cracking)
It woudn't surprise me if a combination of lack of sleep and anemia is affecting Sami. I checked the Vault scenes from Episodes 13 and 14 of Season 3 and noticed Eva seemed a bit ill too, similar to Sami.
This could make sense if Eva is showing signs of Anemia too.
Sami's is made worse by her lack of sleep due to having to take care of Bayrn.
I then went back and checked Episode 10 of Season 3.
And, based on what I've seen, all of them have their blood drawn from the droid's left hand. And that only Bayrn's has the smaller needle.
This means that Eva and Sami have less blood in their bodies than Jax and Omega. If the full needle is being used, then Sami and Eva are having more of their blood extracted as a percentage than Jax or Omega.
This means they'd be more affected by the blood loss, and therefore develop Anemia faster.
It's also possibly true that Sami was the first of the kids to be taken. If that is true, then she's been having her blood taken the longest.
Ooh this just makes me even angrier that when Sammi told that one doctor she was hungry, the bitch had the audacity to say “it will pass.” 🙄 I know she was asking as more of a distraction tactic. But it’s also highly possible that it stemmed from the truth

A little idea I had for a cute bad batch scenario once more based on the discussion I had earlier with @here-comes-the-moose
Imagine this cute scenario where once Emerie and the kids are in hyperspace she comes to check on the kids and takes Baryn from Sami for a bit and she just straight up conks out on either Jax or Eva
And when I mean out, I mean she was OUT
They actually thought she was ill till they heard her snoring
I don't think she conks out on Eva or Jax.
She conks out on Omega.
Yeah but this is on the shuttle Emerie takes them to Pabu on, meanwhile Echo and Omega are still freeing the other prisoners
True. I had the thought that once they've all reunited on the way to Pabu, Sami is awoken long enough to snuggle against Omega before falling asleep again.

Maybe have her come round to check they're settling in OK and they all take a nap or something, it will be a bit different in my au of course but I'll make it work, thx for the idea

I've had a kid cuddle pile before in one of my fanfics, so I know how cute they can be.
If I do my OC Joey will be there too, since I'm not going into the force sensitive Omega idea in my au (mainly cause I felt it was rather rushed in the show and such) my OC Joey was in the vault with them instead of Omega (the vault was also on a space station and not Tantiss in my au but I digress)
But Omega is reminded of her younger self when she sees the kids because when she was younger and on Kamino she was in a similar situation with the Kamanoins

Corscaunt:
Several clone officers including commander Trix of the 501st legion, Commander Cody of the 212th, Commander Wolffe of the 104th and others such as Commander Doom, Commander Bly and Commander Jet we're all waiting in Palpatine's office.
"So why do you think we're here?" Cody asked Wolffe.
"Not sure, all I heard was that this was important." Wolffe said.
"Do you think this has something to do with that defence recruitment Bill that's been rumoured?" Trix asked.
"Let's hope not, for our sakes." Jet said.
The other commanders all murmured in agreement.
They all looked up as Palpatine walked in flanked by his royal guards and all stood at attention.
"Commanders, I am glad you were able to make it." Sidious said.
The commanders all nodded and fell at ease as Sidious stood in front of them to address them.
"Now I am sure you are all wondering why you are here." Sidious said looking at all of them.
The commanders were silent and waited for him to continue.
"I have gathered you here because the clone wars is now over and the imperial military needs to be overhauled to achieve it's maximum efficiency, therefore a new order is needed." Sidious said.
"What order is that sir?" Trix asked.
"Order 57." Sidious said.
He explained.
"You have served me well my officers, however times are changing and the empire must change with them, as a result new officers shall be recruited while you shall receive new duties to suit your new role in the empire." Sidious stated.
The commanders murmured furiously amongst each other.
"But sir, haven't we been your most trusted officers." Deviss protested.
"Indeed you have but I'm afraid this is what is to happen, and all you must follow through with it." Sidious said.
"This is ridiculous, after all we've done for you, us clones deserve better, but if that's how it's going to be sir, then you can just forget it." Deviss scowled.
He marched to the door and was about to storm out when he saw an unfamiliar figure in the doorway.
"What the...who are you!" Deviss demanded.
There was the sound of a blaster going off and Deviss fell to the ground, the new officer standing over him.
"Your replacement." The officer sneered.
The other clone commanders were shocked by what happened.
A couple of the commanders such as Baccara, Neyo and Bly immediately agreed to order 57 fearing a similar fate to what had just happened and they were led off to receive their new assignments.
However others including Blitz, Hammer, Ford, Jet, Doom, Cody and Wolffe objected and were led off.
Trix was next.
"Make your choice wisely commander." Sidious advised.
Trix looked at him with a scowl.
"With all due respect my lord, if you think I'm going to willingly work for a monster like you, then you can forget it." Trix growled.
Sidious wasn't even fazed.
"You dissapoint me Trix." He said calmly.
He looked at two of his guards.
"Take him away." He instructed.
Trix was promptly handcuffed by the guards and led away down the corridor.
He was silent the entire time, unable to think of a single word to say.
He was released and roughly shoved into a small room where the other commanders were as well as an unfamiliar man and woman were waiting, both wearing scientist uniforms.
"Ah another commander has joined us, Dr Karr what is his name?" The Male scientist asked.
"CT-0212 Dr Hemlock, he is known as Trix and was recently promoted to commander of the 501st legion, he has quite the extensive record." Karr said.
"Fascinating." Hemlock said his lips curling in a cold smile.
He approached Trix who scowled at him as he approached.
"Don't worry commander, we're going to take good care of you."

My star wars Au headcannons: Weddings
After Padme and Anakin's not so secret marriage came out they had a celebration with everyone so everyone could see them getting married
Cobalt and Martha met early into the clone wars and married roughly a year later, it was a simple but secret event with only the bad batch, Sigma squad and Martha's family in attendance
Wrecker and Katie married shortly after rise of the empire, Sarah, Omega and Cynthia were the flower girls at the wedding while James was the ring bearer
Wrecker didn't do traditional bachelor and bachelorette parties, they instead did two separate activities anyone could go to, a football game or a movie marathon
For Trix and Riyo's wedding Sami and Eva made flower crowns for everyone to wear out of blue, white and pink flowers
