jungwon scrolled through his timeline after posting that petty tweet, if he were being honest, he was jealous. he didn’t understand why he was. yn was a weird girl, like weirder than riki and meeting her was a complete accident.

if riki didn’t need help at jaemins party, he wouldn’t have kissed her and things probably would’ve been fine. but ever since she came, things have be rough and just so difficult for him.

the thought of how sunghoon wanted her at one point and how they’re getting closer, just angered him. the thoughts kept going through his mind: why her, why the new girl who’s weird and very, very.. extremely.. attractive and exactly his type.

jungwon clicked on yn’s instagram page, unintentionally ‘stalking her’ in class. not realizing that she was right behind him.

“jungwon?” the girl said, staring at the image of herself on the boys phone.

jungwon quickly shut off his device and turned to the voice, giving the girl a nervous smile.

“oh hey deskmate..” jungwon spoke with a weird tone. jungwon shifted his eyes to her bun then back her face, hoping she wouldn’t make things awkward since she just caught him staring at an image of her.

yn smiled at the boy, the idea of embarrassing jungwon on her first day back didn’t seem too bad but the other idea of making minjeong jealous since she was in their classroom talking to yoo jimin seemed even better.

“you missed me THAT much, you had to stalk me.” yn said teasingly, sitting down at her desk, next to jungwon.

jungwon gulped, he expected yn to say something since thats just how she was but he didn’t expect her to be as loud as she was when she said it.

yn glanced at the two girls, they were staring directly at them. minjeong didn’t seem too pleased and yn just smirked at the her.

you harshly ripped your hands away from his. “jake i- i cant” you said shaking your head. “so thats it? after everything we, the two of us, have been through, you’re just gonna give up?” jake said softly. his eyes held a reflectance of hope. “it’s easier to give up than be hurt over and over again jake.” you replied after a moment of silence. “so i guess this is goodbye then.” jake said with a single tear rolling down his cheek. oh how you wanted to go up to him and embrace him in the tightest hug ever, but you couldn’t. couldn’t risk getting hurt again.

you watched as jake left your apartment. the once happy filled house was now left with sorrow and despair. you let out a choked sob as you tightly clenched your shirt. and for the rest of the day you spent crying, only this time, it was actually your fault.

There’s nothing more unsettling than seeing you trying to talk to Nishimura Riki who is actively making it a point to avoid looking or speaking to you, despite being in the same vehicle.

Especially when you’re saying, gently, “Riki, I’m really sorry.”

Riki couldn’t bring himself to look at you. He was understandably upset, and there was an insistent voice in his head that told him to give you the silent treatment. Your boyfriend had the right to be annoyed – especially when he had spent hours prior in the day waiting for you at your favorite ice cream parlor.

It wasn’t like you had meant to stand him up on your date. You had been called back late by your teacher, and you had forgotten to inform Riki especially when your mind was a sea of responsibilities you had to tend to.
