it's always so surprising to me to think that none of the girls realized Shauna was showing clear symptoms of post-partum depression— or that she was at least struggling with losing her baby.

like— I get it. They're teenage girls stranded in the middle of nowhere with bigger things to worry about than a dead baby.

But still, it surprises me that not even Lottie, the most empathetic or Misty, the one with the highest degree of medical knowledge among them, even acknowledged that Shauna had post-partum depression and was clearly struggling through it without the baby, let alone help her. everyone just...kinda wrote her off as being irrational and crazy.
