Ask me about my scarian au!!!!

Honestly Scar this session is making me crazy, he ended both Ren and Martynโ€™s episodes so casually that he didnโ€™t even realise they were out, he was the last yellow, he was top 3, he would have been top 2 with Grian if he had teamed up to beat Scott like Grian wanted, we could have had desert duo part 2 electric boogaloo if he wasnโ€™t so paranoid, we cou- what was I talking about againโ€ฆ oh yeah, Scar absolutely, Scar was amazing this session, like you can really tell how much heโ€™s improved as a Minecraft player, and particularly a pvp-er, since 3rd life, 3rd lifeโ€ฆ ah, but yeah itโ€™s really cool to see how far heโ€™s gone with all the effort heโ€™s put in, like it is genuinely very impressive and I canโ€™t wait to see how much better heโ€™ll get in future.

Guys, I feel like we as a community really overlook how obsessed Joel and Grian are with each other.

In third life they were technically allies. Grian teamed with Scar and Joel was friends with Scar (friend pass)

In last life they become absolutely the bestest of of buds while red. In the finale literally everyone has to come together to take them down and I think that speaks to how good of a duo they are.

Then you have double life which isnโ€™t a lot of evidence but the sadness they arenโ€™t soul bound (the universe knew theyโ€™d be too powerful)

Limited life rolls around and the boys are back, obsessed again, what is happening

In secret life not only were they โ€˜soul boundโ€™ but they gifted each other hearts so much. Losers /affectionate

Then in wild life they just instantly buddy up when their respective allies are dead.

Only watched a couple minutes of Simple life and donโ€™t remember much of real life but they still team up.

And of course Joel just so happens to have Grians permits and has begun the process of blackmailing him.

I just think we as a fandom need to acknowledge that maybe theyโ€™re the actual obsessors

Ooh, this is actually kinda a neat thing, because you can think of it as a checklist:

  • Who: Main character(s)
  • Why: Character goal or desire (stated)
  • Why: Character need (implied)
  • When: Inciting Incident
  • What: Means (that achieves the goal/need)
  • Where: Place A >> Place B
  • How: The Plan
  • Obstacle(s): antagonist or challenge

For example:

  • Who: Bilbo Baggins, a respectable hobbit of Hobbiton
  • Why: Treasure, wealth (stated)
  • Why: Adventure, self-respect (implied)
  • When: After supper
  • What: Quest
  • Where: Hobbiton >> The Lonely Mountain
  • How: A company of dwarves, a wizard, and an ancient map and key
  • Main antagonist(s): a dragon

Thus, in less than 100 words:

  • Bilbo Baggins is a respectable hobbit in Hobbiton, never making any trouble or having any adventures. But when a wizard and a company of dwarves invite themselves to dinner, Bilbo finds himself joining their quest from the shires of Hobbiton to the legendary Lonely Mountain, the home of a long lost treasure, and quite, possibly, a dragon.ย ย

The Anatomy of Story by John Truby is a really good book by the by, if anyoneโ€™s interested in this sort of thing.

This is super helpful!โ€™

I love how when you add anyone to Pearl, Scott, and Cleo's dynamic the group name is just "the # G's". Add Impulse? That's 4 G's. Add BigB? 5 G's.

Is there a limit to this phenomenon? Like, "Welcome to the Life Series, I'm here with the 18 G's-"

Hi! I'm here with the 18 G's-

Gaslight (Cleo)

Gatekeep (Scott)

Girlboss (Pearl)

Guy (Impulse)

Grandpa (Etho)

Girliepop (Jimmy)

Grian (Grian)

Grenade Launcher (Tango)

Gemini (Gem)

Glutes (Scar)

Gay and Gayer (Treebark)

Gremlin (Joel)

Ghost (Lizzie)

Gelding (Bdubs)

And of course,
