Been thinking about a version of Season One where the loss of her heart has left her stuck in dragon form slowly losing her sense of self to animal instincts.
In this universe, Ianite has always possessed two forms: her typical humanoid form and her draconic form. As with everything, there's a balance that needs to be kept between them. Her dragon form allows her more physical strength and defence, but there's a great many things humans can do that dragons really can't and staying in the form too long has her losing her ability to think coherently.
When Dianite steals her heart, he intentionally does so while she's in her dragon form preventing her from turning back. While imprisoning her as a dragon is harder, he knows that it'll make any attempt she does to get aid far harder, and he quite likes the idea of having a new attack dog once this is all over with.
My final project for my visual journalism class! we were asked to write an informational comic about any topic, and I chose to talk about the history of video games as a narrative medium!
