Meet Ventresca Cookie, AKA Captain Bigeye!! (Ref drawn by my bestie @cornkernelcorp!)
Captain Bigeye here is a renown sailor from the lower city of the Republic who takes pride in his job: Sea monster hunting! This man is ABSOLUTELY fearless, willing to sail through hurricanes to get his catch! NOBODY knows how he hasn't been killed yet. He's not part of the navy, nor does he have his own crew (NOBODY is willing to get hired because they don't want to die LMAOO)
He's also very good rivals with Captain Caviar! (they're the type to have a full-on brawl in a bar one night, but laugh and hug each other the next) Unlike Caviar, Ventresca is buddy-buddy with pretty much anyone, even pirates! Just as long as you don't threaten him or his pals!
I wanted to make an OC off of one of my favorite foods: Ventresca tuna: Specifically the cans from Ecuador, which are from Bigeye tuna! (That's where his nickname comes from!)
My Art Teacher gave us an assignment where we draw a character as if they were from a different media and this gave me the perfect excuse to work on my Cookie Run AU designs! (The AU is that everything is the same but they're hummanoid and have human names.) I'm starting with Crunchy Chip Cookie bcuz the Dark Cacao Kingdom is my favorite and also I already sketched his design a couple months back. Say hi to Chung-Hee Chi!

I made him Korean bcuz the Dark Cacao Kingdom was based off of Josean-Era Korea and he's siberian bcuz Siberian huskies look like wolves, and he's already a werewolf hybrid. Ik that werewolves whole thing is that they only have wolf traits at some point, but I'm the little bastard that likes adding animal traits to characters, and plus I like the idea of werewolves having wolf ears and wolf feet lol (in this world, werewolves also have wolf legs and a tail, but he only has wolf feet and only gains a tail when he's in his wolf form. His ears would be at the top of his head but, since he's an elf, they're on the side of his head).
I have an entire list of cookies I wanna do, their human names, species, ethnicity, parts of the design I'm adding ,etc. Tell me which one you'd like to see next!

I'm really not apologetic with this hard stance, either. I'm very firm on this, too. My art has already been used, twice now by people who did not ask my permission, so they could "enhance it" with Gen AI. I really see nothing good coming from generative AI except poor excuses for laziness and glorified search engines that don't work.
This is an important time to make the distinction between generative and analytical AI. Analytical AI is what AI is supposed to be for. It’s all the boring stuff like analyzing data for patterns. For example, you probably heard about that AI that was designed to tell apart bear claws from croissants for a bakery that is now being used to detect cancer cells with greater accuracy than human doctors. That’s an analytical AI, while everything mentioned in the post above is generative AI. (Which sucks!)
“really?” I say to inanimate objects that are not working like they usually do
“Stay.” I glare at inanimate objects that continuously fall over
“Thank you!” I say exhasperatedly to the inanimate objects when they do finally work right/stay put
“Sorry! I say to the table I bumped into
“SHHH” I say to the inanimate object that keeps making noise
“Yeah, yeah, I’m coming,” I huff at the persistent kitchen timer.
“why are you like this?,” I grumble at the inanimate object that is doing it again
“Please don’t yell at me,” I say to the inanimate object that is making vague beeping/the- function-you-attempted-didn’t-work noises
“Good job!!” I say to the inanimate object that has completed the task it was created to do.
“It’ ok, you can do it,” I say to the inanimate object that is getting older and making Noises, but still able to complete its function
“Don’t make me come over there,” I threaten the inanimate object that is making troubling noises that usually proceed a catastrophic failure.
“Are we really doing this again?” I ask the light that continues to flicker.
We need more scary infinite variants of manmade environments like the Infinite IKEA or the Backrooms.

Check out the lot-to-building ratio in any large American sports stadium
Some lots are so big they have bus services specifially inside it. The lots are broken into sections and buses go around to their sections at a set amount of times before the start of something and drive people to the main building.
The societies of lost people inside The Lot would probably operate something like that to locate and pick up new arrivals and bring them over to one of the major settlements.
In the Infinite Ikea or Backrooms you can convince yourself there's gonna be a door round the next corner or behind that wall.
But despite it being completely open, there is no hope of escape from The Lot. Whereever you look it's just more cars from horizon to horizon.

Kestrel-dad not sure how to dad but he’s trying his best.
Dad loves you and feeds you. But he is also dumb and feeds you a wonderfully done wagyu steak. You are 3 days old.
Okay, but check out this video from mid-May 2022 of a Kestrel Dad who just kept piling up voles and mice beside his babies when the mom was injured/killed/mia’d by owls…but then watched one of his babies just swallow a lizard and went “OH. I can feed them small food!” and learned to tear it apart!
EDIT: There’s a not-zero percent chance that this could be the same dad???????? The source is the same–Robert E Fuller–but they could be different birds.
UPDATE: Not only has Mister Kes learned to feed his chicks all on his own…
….the three chicks who were taken out of the nest for intensive care after the mom disappeared were put back in, and he just started feeding them, too.
He’s a single father of six who does not possess the instincts to feed even one of his offspring, but he learned and adopted that behavior without difficulty and is now hunting and providing for six kids all on his own.
