augh you've unfortunately asked the most boring gay person in the world. I found a queer book club in my area that I enjoyed before my schedule changed and made it so I can't attend... there's a trivia night at a lesbian bar I keep meaning to go to and haven't yet... other than that idk it might be worth it to see if there's any kind of queer resource center in your area that might host or advertise meet ups and events.

yay congrats on acquiring a new set of brainworms! but alas camgideon doesn't inspire any particular feelings in me beyond "it would be hot." I also like them but I think I like them best platonically... maybe it's that they're so similar. they kind of have the same problems but camilla is aware of them and decided no she likes it that way actually and gideon put on a blindfold and said what do you mean I've never had any problems except kicking necromancer butt amirite fellas.
idk I could be sold on it. mentor is a fun dynamic but consider what if mentoring made gideon worse.

I just think maybe she feels unfixable/unsaveable about it even though her fighting is usually just her lashing out as a (unhealthy) defense mechanism. FURTHERMORE. Let us think about the picture… door ruined? Dog who actually looks happy when the picture is being taken? You know what that means… separation anxiety!!! I think vi doesn’t like letting herself get close to / rely on folks because it leaves her vulnerable, BUT once she gets attached to someone she is ride or die. Loyal to a FAULT. Therefore, the ruined door is very on brand because like… it would just be her lashing out in a panic when she thinks someone left her again. Yeah. Anyways that’s all for today!

I was going to write a meta on why Jackie’s reciprocated feelings for Shauna are so blatant when you read between the lines of her scenes, but just letting the show speak for itself in video form makes it even clearer. I love how much their relationship is layered in subtext and double meaning, and the further into the show we get the more this is all cemented as totally intentional.
