sqh the kinda guy to be so anxious on a daily basis but when he makes a mistake hes so freaked out that he becomes like the best functioning human being youve ever met.

he drops mbj's teacup and suddenly becomes the epitome of a used car salesman with the charm of the womanizer og lbh

hes oozing charm as he catches the cup out of thin air so smoothly and places it back down with this sharp grin and mbj thinks he might have covid or an aneurysm or maybe both

once he went to talk to a gathering of merchants after forgetting he left all his notes on who's who and what deals he wants to cut. he blacked out and when hes back at cang qiong he has like a stack of deals where the merchants are basically throwing their stuff at him. the merchants go home dazed and in love.

my reaction when playing isat for the first time:

i love the name bigfrin because it does not accurately represent the gravity of the situation it's from like at all. this is the final boss of the game, the culmination of our protagonist's mental deterioration over the course of the game. they've been so worn down, and had their preexisting issues exarcerbated by the time loops, that they've become not just sympathetic of the tyrannical antagonist's worldviews, but in agreement of them. their fear of abandonment is so intense that, despite the torment of being stuck in the same two days, repeating the same events over and over and being driven to madness by the monotony, the idea of parting from their friends is so great that they're willing to trap their friends in a time loop and staying trapped themself, if it means they can stay together. they grow gigantic and threatening, looming over their friends and sucking in the stars in the sky like a black hole. and we call him uhhhhh bigfrin :) cute name right
