i go on discord. the icons are tiny now. i go on tumblr. the icons are massive. i kill myself

literally thought I was gonna die five minutes ago because there was an earthquake where I live. only that we weren’t alerted that there was gonna be an earthquake or how severe it would be. so when it happened I first thought there was something wrong with me - like I was fine one minute and the next I felt like I was gonna faint and the room was literally spinning - and I kind of panicked thinking I was gonna drop dead. until my aunt said there was an earthquake, and then I kept fearing we were all gonna die because the house could collapse on us any second and the ground and everything were shaking (some buildings did collapse and there were casualties). we were lucky our house was fine and we were all fine, with only some lingering headache and nausea that I can still feel.

but gosh our government is so shitty we literally have no alert system when it comes to this. like no one saw it coming and literally almost everybody in the entire country thought they were experiencing sudden intense dizziness instead of actual earthquake until buildings started collapsing.

edit: I’m adding this video here. a friend sent it to me. this is less than 30 minutes drive away from where I live. and yes this happened today and none of these people in the vid were alerted beforehand. no one was. they had no idea about the earthquake or what was gonna happen until the building collapsed.

from what I heard, there were around 300 people missing as of now and we’re still counting
