now that I'm thinking about it, maybe the reason where I can't get behind conrad and root for him to get the girl is mainly that the audience will constantly baby him, and like I get being understanding towards him but also let's be honest, if conrad was a girl, yall would not be giving him the same grace and sympathy. and how do I know this? because ik some of yall are the same people who've treated female characters from other shows who've gone through some of the shit conrad did and have NO sympathy for them and call them brats and say that they're selfish and that they ruin everyone else's lives (ie. elena gilbert, jenny humphrey, etc.). but since conrad is an emotionally damaged and attractive yt man (cause lets also be real, if he wasnt yt, he'd wouldn't be getting that grace and sympathy either), you'll defend him til the end of time even when he IS in the wrong and constantly treats the people around him like shit, including his own girlfriend. I understand what he's gone through, but that boy is not emotionally mature enough for a relationship, and he should work on himself first before being in a relationship

it's why I grew to love marcus from ginny and georgia because I didn't like him in season 1 but when season 2 came out, I was able to understand him and this particular line he said stuck out to me: "it's not ginny, i love ginny. she's the only thing that makes me happy. that's the problem. no person should be responsible for your happiness. that's not fair." plus marcus from what I can recall, has never treated everyone else as horrible as conrad has treated the ones around him. like I'm sorry I'm not rooting for the guy who is clearly not ready for a relationship

also, side note, I hate when people say belly and conrad deserve each other. look, I don't like how belly treats jeremiah sometimes, but that does NOT mean I want her in a relationship with a man that makes her feel insecure. and some of yall are probably the same people that say chuck and blair from gossip girl deserve each other because they're both horrible when blair was treated like shit by chuck constantly (blair is a horrible person indeed but that does not mean she deserves to be in a relationship with a man who literally tried to hit her and sold her)

For those who don’t know me, my name is Alaa. I’m a husband and a father from Gaza, and I’m so grateful to be raising two beautiful children, Maram, our lovely 6-year-old daughter, and Ayman, our energetic 3-year-old boy. We are also eagerly anticipating the arrival of our third child, a baby girl, who is due in just a couple of months. My wife is seven months pregnant, and while we’re filled with excitement, we’re also feeling the weight of the challenges ahead.

One of the things we’ve been discussing is what to name our new daughter. We wanted something that feels similar to Maram, but we’re still undecided. There are so many lovely names that could be perfect for her, and we’d really appreciate any suggestions or advice.

That said, choosing a name is the least of our worries right now. The reality of preparing for our baby’s arrival in the middle of a war is overwhelming. We have no baby clothes, no mattress, and with the current war, basic necessities like diapers and baby formula have become unaffordable for us.

I’m thrilled and thankful that we’re expecting a new addition to our family, but as a father, the fear and worry about how we’ll care for her, along with our two other children, are constant. We are displaced from our home, I’ve lost my job, and our savings have run out. Every day, I wonder how I will protect and provide for my family in these impossible circumstances.

I love how the first episode of ATLA is called "the boy in the iceberg", and the last episode is called "avatar Aang".

Its just a few words, yet they hold so much complexity. It shows how much Aang matured and grew to his potential as the avatar.

From the little childish boy in the iceberg, he grew to be someone whose name would ring throughout history as someone great. A title that holds respect. Avatar Aang.
