Hello! This is a brand-new blog I'm starting for one specific purpose: spreading kindness to others in the Dead Boy Detectives fandom.

Rules.
  1. Submit your kind words to any member of the fandom, anonymously or not! I will post them (without a caption) and tag the person(s) mentioned in the message so they can see it.
  2. You may also say kind things to the cast, crew, and other people who helped create this lovely show. It's encouraged!
  3. All posts will be tagged with #dbdakindness.
  4. You can send me asks about the blog and stuff! They'll be tagged with #mod talks.
  5. Posts that are not intended to compliment another user or cast member will be deleted as this is not the place for them.
  6. Any negativity at all will result in a block 🚫 because it's antithetical to the entire point of this blog.

To the only anon I am currently not publishing -

I agree with your opinion about those certain types of content. That being said, this blog is a wildly inappropriate place to call out other people in the fandom - as in, probably THE most inappropriate place.

I do screen submissions, and none of them have felt like they are in any way shaming me or anyone else who doesn't want to engage with those types of content. I am sorry it came across that way.

If a submission is kind to the user getting a shout-out, I post it. This blog is made to be a place to facilitate anonymous love for fans by other fans. It's not made to condone or condemn any type of content. My personal opinions, like those of anyone else besides the person who sent in the submission, are irrelevant.

I am personally of the opinion that no one should ever be shamed for the type of content they create, especially publically. Fandom is for everyone and not everyone will engage similarly. If you do not like someone's content, block them and leave them alone.
