My body was remade and my relationship with it is kind of weird, my parent grieves who I was like I’m dead even when I’m standing right in front of them, I forged myself a new identity when I just couldn’t stand to be who/how my family expected me to be anymore - not a big Jason Todd fan but the guy embodies the trans experience pretty hard

There should be a limit on how many Batman-adjacent characters are allowed for these tournaments.
Over 20 of the 64 slots for the current tournament (transgender beam) were taken up by the Batfamily or their rogues. Nearly a third of the competition is just Gotham.
I get that these guys are really popular and that the brackets aren't always so heavily dominated by them but come on. Like honestly most of those submissions feel like they're from fans spamming Batman's extended cast because they don't know any other DC characters.
Yeah I'm not gonna enforce limits like that. This thing is crowd run, and the fandom veers towards the Bats, no matter what anyone's opinion on that is
