So Bruce knows all the janitors names, he pulled strings for his garbage man Donny’s daughter to get into a better school, he thanks waitstaff with the utmost sincerity, he makes genuine conversation with anyone he can so that they know they are seen, he tips graciously and leaves his card with those stuck in a rut with the skills to be more.

Absolutely I would, anon. Error has no rights. It shouldn’t be illegal to be an atheist or agnostic but nobody has a right to promote such ideas.
Yeah. Yeah they absolutely do. Whether we like it or not, how wrong those ideas are and how dangerous we think they are doesn’t make it acceptable to suppress them. We are not China, we are not Russia or North Korea, and we are not the radical left-wing groups of our country who would use political power, violence, or the threat of it, to silence and demonize what little good sense and morals we have left. Freedom of speech does not exist without allowing a voice to those we disagree with.
Divine Law may supersede the Constitution, but the Constitution was written with the idea of all men having certain God-given rights, and protecting them. And now you’ve sworn an oath to uphold that document and what it stands for.
OP you’re just gonna create a generation of Catholic/Christian yes-men. We need dialogue with others who may not agree with us. The fact that you say “nobody has a right to promote such ideas” makes you sound like one of those militant antitheists. What gives us a right to post those opinions or vice versa? What if they said the same about us?
Because “Error has no rights”. It’s not about denying that there atheists or agnostics, but those ideas will cost you your (or your children’s) soul if they’re presented like legitimate alternatives. So yes, any Christian nation must censor any media that promotes irreligion and injustice to what is rightfully God’s, our souls.
Yeah, but God never forced anyone to love him only because there was no other option. In fact, that may create the opposite effect. People may rebel against God because they’ve been sheltered by the State to see nothing else.
How can a man recognize the truth without seeing what is untrue?
I can’t express the amount of times that I have seen things being done, expressed, and exclaimed that were so far from the truth, that my soul knew it was wrong. Things that made me cling to God and his righteousness. But if we are only going through the motions, are we truly those who have chosen to follow God, or simply those who are doing what they’re told by their government without any belief in the soul?
The United States was built on “freedom of religion” and “freedom of speech.” Imposing on that breaks both of those things that are one of the major things that make this country great. With that logic, you’re going to start censoring ALL the religion that is not your own. Because “error has no rights.” That sounds scary like what happened in WW2.
Living with those who are different are what forces you to be so passionate about what you believe. If we all are the same, then there is no preaching, there is no spreading God’s word to people. And whether some people like it or not, atheism is a form of a religion or belief. That doesn’t mean you can’t minster to them. Same with people who believe in another religion than you. It doesn’t mean you can’t minster to them and spread your faith. But you have to be willing to hear them out as well or else they’ll never listen to you. Getting the government to control what you do and do not believe in and filtering out things that they don’t want you to hear sounds scary like communism. And we should avoid it at all costs. I am not trying to be disrespectful, but am asking you to rethink that belief. Does your religion honestly say that promotion of any other religions in terms of books or music or even churches and community outreach services and projects, should not be allowed?
