#Uh - Virmon - Although Jyarimon start life as innocent-looking blobs with wings, these fiery little guys are destined for big things. As they grow into Virmon and develop stubby legs, they are able to use numerous little fangs to nibble at everything in sight, delivering hot bites that get more powerful and aggressive as these Digimon age.
#Uhh - Rudimon - Standing upright? Look at this guy go! He's unstoppable! From running around on all fours as Gigimon to standing tall and growing claws as Rudimon, this Rookie is going places. Hey now, what's that developing symbol on his chest mean? Eh, nevermind, it can't be that important.
#Uhhh - Snarlmon - As Guilmon grow into Snarlmon and later Growlmon, they loose their sense of childishness and become more wild and aggressive. What are you trying to prove? You and Guilmon look basically the same! One day a Digimon grows a little hair and suddenly he thinks he can take on the whole world or something!
#Uhhhh - BattleGrowlmon - Oh man. Uh, this a real step up from Growlmon. Looks at those blades! What do you mean that jaw attachment is a restraining tool for my safety? Good thing this guy is being raised by someone pure of heart, right? I'm, um, I'm sorry for what I said before! 😅

I can't find an article in English but essentially in France it is a common children's prank to on April Fool's put little paper fish on people's backs and it's called "poisson d'Avril" (April Fish). when i was in school in our french classes we would hide paper fish around the school as well and i took great joy in wedging mine in deeply impractical places that im honestly not sure were ever found. looking at it now, my French teachers had billed it as a Whole Separate Holiday but it actually seems more to be like a cultural in-joke/France-Specific April Fool's Prank lol whoops
regardless I like it better than some of the more mean spirited stuff I've seen associated with American April Fool's day

Actually, it started earlier than 1939, and it was smart marketing as much as anything else! Rural North American women used the cloth from feed and flour sacks to make towels, curtains, and other items as early as the 19th century. The companies making the feed and flour realized there was a market here, and they began adding patterns to the bags to encourage buying the same product every time. (For context, a 100-pound sack of chicken feed yields about 1 yard of fabric. 3 yards is the standard amount for a lot of adult dresses, and most people prefer that the parts of their garments match. So farm wives had an incentive to stick with, say, Gingham Girl products at least long enough to get enough gingham for a new dress.)
The making and wearing of feedsack clothing hit its peak in the 1930s and then began dropping off during WW2, when feedsacks switched to paper due to war rationing of cotton. But you can still find examples of feedsack patterns (special patterns made for use with feedsacks, sometimes printed right on the bags) floating around.
TL;DR, feedsack dresses and other clothes started WAY before 1939, mill owners knew about it long before that, and the pretty patterns were more about marketing than kindness. But turning feedsacks into clothing is still very cool of those long-ago rural folks to do.
