like I always say this jokingly but I also kind of 100% mean it that one of the things I admire most about casper is how balanced his approach to his tennis life is. I don't doubt that he is very ambitious and approaches his matches and his training very seriously, but I also get the impression that he's satisfied with what he's achieved. that he knows he's done more than most who ever pick up a racket ever will, and that he knows that life is much bigger than the court. I think we need to release this idea that players should want to be the very best and beat every record and win every single match and that they should be unsatisfied with themselves until they do. they should be allowed to be people who want other things and want to be happy and that doesn't have to mean that they don't take their sports career seriously
