i respect the hell out of oscar bc he's bold, he's smart and when he sees a gap, he goes. that's what a racing driver's supposed to do! but today? he needed to make the move. no team orders, just send it, like he did in monza without flinching.

if he wanted p2 so bad he should've took it. mcl pitwall didn't hold him back... pace did.

maybe some of his fans (not all of them ofc <3) don't wanna face that reality but he wasn't faster today not faster than lando and deffo not verstappen. like. the data's right there. you can check the f1 telemetry on multiviewer, scroll through mcl fan pages or just… watch the race.

don't blame the team for not stepping. don't come for the lack of team orders. come for the radio silence. will barely mentioned oscar's name to lando today (one of those was just about oscar's drs. no more info, no pressure, no heads-up about the situation behind)

no proper updates, no context. and y'all know good communication can maximise both drivers' races so...

#prev tags exactly!!!!!!!!!#there was no team orders in the very first place in this race#it was just only oscar said on radio that he wants to overtake lando because he was might#thinking that his pace can able to overtake verstappen#and that was it….there was no asking for team orders or whatsoever#these two know that they were allowed to race each other#yes oscar‘s pace is really fast to catch up lando until about 1 tenths away from lando#but i don‘t think it was enough to overtake lando#and obviously it‘s a but though here in suzuka for the cars to overtake forreal#*bit#japanese gp 2025#f1#lando norris#oscar piastri#and you know what…it is alright ffs because it‘s only race 3 yet you guys going on each others throats#and ignoring the facts and data hrmmmmm 😌😌😌
