Shy daydreamer, wanderer of the moors, reader by candlelight, nostalgic soul, rabbit-hearted, pale hands, rosy cheeks, and teary eyes. Lover of classic literature, fairy tales, old folk stories, abandoned ruins, secret gardens, rainy nights, and lost treasures. I dream for a living. Your friendly banshee. The front of Wythenshawe Hall. Restored, with wooden plugs rather than nails, as well as rendering and later ‘improvements’ removed. Only open irregularly with council funding cuts but well worth the effort as an impressive example of a medieval hall. Allegedly there are secret tunnels underneath that connect to the even harder to access (i.e. never open) Baguley Hall.
