So me and my friend @eoinmcgonigal were talking about how Eoin would act if he survived the jump (now weβre not talking like immediately being found but after and when I said we were talkin it was me screaming at them, poor themπ)
ANWAY IT ALL STARTED WITH THIS PHOTO
Now since my brain does not know happiness it immediately thought of Eoin and Paddy. Eoin loves Paddy, he does, however you cannot convince me that after the jump he was not angry or hurt by paddys actions. Paddy is a man who literally ruined his deployment to Burma due to an insult, was arrested by military police, spat in the face of cowards and authority. However, as seen before the one thing Eoin hates about Paddy is his lack of grasping the concept of consequences. Their fates were sealed when Paddy fucked up their deployment. So now you are in Eoins POV yea, youβve just survived a suicide mission while most men havenβt, Paddy, stirling and jock knew it was a suicide mission and still did it. So Paddy a man who defys orders to stick up for what he believes is right has allowed this jump to go. Meaning he believes it to be right or he just wants to feel like useful and productive. He knew the risks but still took them even if it meant Eoins life being in danger. Paddy doesnβt have touch of reality and in his reality, eoin does not exist. Well it does but itβs more of a fantasy Eoin. Like he doesnβt realise that Eoin is an actual person who can get hurt and shit. So now tell me.
