I am a Sonic, Minecraft and MCSM fan and hobbyist who likes to post random stuff like drawings, au content, screenshots, redraws and incorrect quotes. this page has no real theme, I just like posting what I feel like talking about or showing, even if it isn't Sonic, Minecraft/MCSM related, it really depends on my motivation and what is my hyperfixation is, currently. I hope to share some writing practices at some point!

When Petra is told Romeo can't remove the curse anymore, she almost gives up, ready to believe Jesse may be lost to the curse permanently, but Romeo has an idea. Though he designed the gauntlets to be hard to break, it's not impossible, Jack supports this as he remembers breaking his gauntlet long ago but it nearly took him over in the process, Nurm is probably the one who helped him

Though the gauntlets are hard to break, using its power, especially now that Romeo is human, could eventually lead to it breaking, which theoretically is what Jesse is attempting to do, but it is also much easier and much faster to do so with something of equal power. Something like another gauntlet. Petra realizes one of her fears, she has to fight Jesse, one of her closest friends, if it means breaking the curse once and for all.

So Petra leaves her hiding spot and calls out to Jesse, grabbing his attention. The fight begins.

It's a fierce battle, Jesse's rage-fueled attacks sometimes make him unpredictable, but Petra is able to hold her own. Much like the golden gauntlet, it takes a few hits, she can hear Jesse scream underneath the armor whenever his gauntlet is damaged. Eventually, the final blow is made, Jesse's statue form shrieks as he falls onto his back, the gauntlet is broken, and without it, the statue becomes still and quiet on the floor, inactive, it isn't long before the armor poofs out of existence, revealing Jesse, now freed.

At the same time, Petra's netherrack armor breaks, her gauntlet also destroyed in the final blow. Ignoring this, she runs to Jesse, everyone else following her as Jesse opens his still glowing eyes. He gets a look at his hand, no longer stuck in a cursed gauntlet. After moving his sore arms more, testing if he can move on his own, he laughs a little, grateful to be freed, but the realization hits him once he sees Lukas. He attacked people, he attacked his friends. It's possible that he may have even killed someone. Jesse apologizes, saying that he couldn't control himself. Petra stops his words, pulling her friend into a hug. "It's not your fault." Petra tells him.

Lukas joins in the hug too. They both know what it's like to not be in control. As Jack and Radar also join the hug, Jesse returns it, breaking down into sobs.

Romeo, meanwhile, stands aside, this reunion is for Jesse and his friends. And it was his fault Jesse was even cursed. If anything, he doesn't even deserve to be alive to witness this event.

Yes, the gauntlet must be hit directly

When the gauntlet actually starts spreading, it's subtle, neither Jesse, nor Petra noticed,

The events of Petra telling Jesse about Stella, taking him to Champion City, talking to Stella about the sword, sneaking into/fighting their way into the treasure room and getting Petra's sword back, all stays relatively the same, except through it all, Jesse keeps glancing at his gauntlet, something feels off about it and it's not the fact that it's cursed, something else is going on, but other than that, the events play out the same, until they start heading back to Beacon Town

The Heckmouth spews out creepers, they are charged. It breaks through the dirt and stone, allowing said creepers to reach the surface.

Jesse's sword breaks, normally, fighting a creeper, especially a charged one would be a death sentence.

But he has a strange gauntlet, going off a hunch, Jesse punches the creepers, blasting them away and into the Heckmouth they came from.

After having to push back his excitement at the gauntlet's power, he catches a look at it, and freezes.

This hesitation leaves him vulnerable to another creeper sneaking up, Petra has to kill it, and snap Jesse back into the fight.

With Jesse's help, they block off the pit, having successfully fended the creepers off for now, Jesse has more time to properly observe his predicament. And Petra checks on him. Jesse holds up his arm, and Petra goes pale. The Prismarine Gauntlet, had spread, it's almost reaching his shoulder

They need to get to Jack

I was thinking something similar. Amputation is actually considered by Jesse's friends as a last resort. Maybe Petra has to fight Jesse's statue form to break both their gauntlets?

I wonder if Petra misses being the "popular one". In Season 1, she used to care so much about her reputation and everyone in town seemed to know about her. But in Season 2, everything is about Jesse now, and she mentions that they get all the credit no matter what she does (and she's pretty much forgotten).

This makes a lot of sense actually, this might also explain why Petra didn't want to beat Stella up to get her sword back, doing so could permanently ruin the reputation she's trying to keep

Since motivation has been hitting me again, here is a picture I drew of Petra in stage two of her curse.

This is the first drawing I've done of Petra with the gauntlet and her season 2 design so I apologize for it looking off, as I am not used to drawing armor.

I tried to make her eyes cast in shadow, I don't think I pulled it off though but it was a fun experiment regardless

Something I'd like to point out is that Radar still tries to act tough in this au, but as Petra's curse progresses, he is genuinely scared of her and does a poor job of hiding it.

Petra seems to care a lot about her reputation, so this is another blow to her mental state. Someone is scared of her. Someone who was probably as close to Jesse as he once was with her, and that may just be her reputation now

So I do feel the need to apologize for any inconsistencies so this au may have as I am still developing it into a proper, fully fleshed out AU. This is the largest one I've ever done and it's by far my favorite, I'm just having fun developing it and I hope you're enjoying the ride

Here are the current curse effects for Petra, so far (this will change as I develop this au further, so stay tuned for updates)

Petra's curse works similarly to Jesse's, but due to being made out of a different material and Romeo changing the curse a bit, her curse works in slightly different ways

Stage one: much like Jesse's first stage, this gauntlet hasn't spread much yet.

Side effects: fire resistance seems to be the only side effect

Additional notes: the gauntlet feels like it's zapping Petra with electricity as the netherrack spreads.

Stage two: the netherrack has covered Petra's arm. It feels stiff. She is starting to feel cold. She has a growing desire to be near or in fire/lava or the nether itself if possible. Her eyes now glow red with aggression and/or adrenaline

Side effects: Stiffness in affected limb, glowing red eyes (triggered by aggression or adrenaline), the desire to be submerged in lava or near fire

Additional notes: Unlike Jesse, fighting appears to slow Petra's curse down but it also reacts to her feelings of guilt and anger, accelerating it. Petra also appears to have more aggression, it's possible that it's a result of her guilt and anger, but it being a side effect of the curse is just as likely

Stage 3: the netherrack is now covering her torso. She feels constantly cold, only direct contact with fire or lava can warm her. Petra's aggression seems to have gotten worse. She wants to fight something, anything, but her movement is hindered by the netherrack/netherbricks. There's been a few times she's gone completely stiff as her expression becomes blank. Her eyes rarely return to their natural color

Side effects: increased aggression, desire to fight anything on sight, only warmed by contact with fire or lava, glowing eyes, hindered movement, standing completely still.

Additional notes: though Petra's aggression could still be a side effect of the curse, it's also possible that it's caused by Petra's attempts to slow down the curse's progression in order to get to The Admin, and more importantly, free Jesse.

Stage 4: I don't think Petra would reach this stage, the gauntlet is removed before that point, but Petra would become extremely aggressive and very powerful had the gauntlet stayed on. I'd imagine her left arm would have a slightly different appearance, being made out of netherbricks instead of netherrack with subtle cracks to reference her wither sickness from all those years ago

Even when fully corrupted, Jesse's ultimate goal was to protect beacon town, it's the only goal Romeo, nor the curse has been able to erase, but this also leads to him attacking anyone in sight, even Romeo himself. Theoretically, something similar would happen to Petra, only her pure hatred towards Romeo would remain and conflict with the programmed loyalty, which would only make her more aggressive, and she would try to stay near Jesse, even if subconsciously.

It's been a hot minute since I've posted anything about my Brothers Unleashed Au, and I do apologize for that, I just haven't had ideas for it in a while

Because Tails got scratched, he doesn't transform immediately, but he starts experiencing symptoms like aggression and feral traits. He transforms later in the night

I was originally thinking Tails would transform in the University, but then I started thinking about a fight that takes place as they try to rescue Professor Pickle. A bunch of robots and Nightmares appear. It's during this fight that Tails begins transforming. And much like Sonic's first change, it's slow, probably even slower due to Tails's younger age and smaller frame.

When Tails's claws rip through his gloves, Sonic realizes what is happening, but due to the pain of the transformation, Tails is extremely vulnerable. Sonic has to protect Tails from all the monsters and robots. During this, he gets overwhelmed.

Tails, through the pain, watches as Sonic fights a very large Nightmare, but there are a lot more. Surprisingly, a robot is able to catch Sonic off guard for a moment. He's about to fight back when suddenly, a beastly looking fox leaps onto the robot and literally bites its head off.

With Tails's help, the rest are fended off, but Tails is still in his feral, rage state and Sonic has to calm him down. As Tails regains his composure, Sonic just feels extremely guilty that not only did he accidentally harm his little brother, he had given Tails this curse, and now they both must deal with this every night.

When Petra goes into the cabin to find Fred's secret weapon, Petra realizes the cabin reminds her of the treehouse and the admins remind her of her friends. As Petra thinks about the past, her gaze falls onto the gauntlet, which has spread to her torso now.

At this point, Petra's guilt is too much to bear, she realizes she could have become another Romeo, and in doing so, she had inadvertently lead to Jesse being cursed and now she might suffer same fate too

I will admit, I actually haven't figured out if Jack actually makes it to the cabin or not but if he does, I'd imagine he eventually goes into the cabin, because Petra hadn't left, and he heard crying in the cabin.

Petra immediately tries to act tough and cool and that she wasn't just sobbing her eyes out, once she realizes Jack is there.

I like to imagine Jesse is the only person Petra trusts enough to cry in front of, and doesn't feel comfortable showing this vulnerability to other people, even Jack.

Of course, Jack doesn't fall for it.

In the case Jack doesn't make it to the cabin, Radar is the one to check on her instead. And she especially doesn't want someone like him to see her in a vulnerable state.

Petra's cursed gauntlet reacts to her anger, I wonder if it should also react to her guilt 🤔

Also, remember how Petra mentions her nervous habit of Whittling? That's what she does frequently throughout this AU, especially when she's cursed. Literally any wood block she sees, she grabs and slowly shaves it down with her sword. It's the only thing keeping her somewhat calm

Because of what happened in the Sea Temple, Jack never got very far into it, so he didn't witness the statues and figured out how to remove the gauntlet. When he finally returned to that temple, he was still dealing with all the trauma from his past, so when he saw the statues, the implications didn't immediately hit him until the Prismarine Colossus was defeated

He knew something bad would happen if the prismarine fully covered someone, but he didn't think it would turn the victim into a mindless golem

Jack is possibly the one who is able to remove the gauntlet from Jesse and Petra, but it's hard to do, and I'd imagine, very time consuming and extremely risky because trying to remove it by force accelerates the curse, so because of all the dangers of The Underneath combined with what Romeo was doing to Beacon Town, they didn't have time to simply stop and remove Petra's gauntlet

That and the possibility of Jack still getting separated from the group definitely wouldn't help either

Because Jack had the gauntlet at one point, he was also affected by the curse. He did somehow manage to get the gauntlet off after a while. Due to how long it's been since removing it and his curse never got very far, any side effects have since faded

but he does know that the side effects can linger.

I'd imagine due to the lingering side effects, Jesse is unable to lead Beacon Town, at least for a while. He needs to recover.

Radar takes over in his place. Romeo's punishment was a decision that was made in a meeting Radar had with Jesse, Petra, Jack, Lukas and The Ocelots.

During that meeting, the following exchange occurs.

"Romeo should be killed"

"No, Petra, the punishment has to fit the crime. We'll figure something else out"

"He killed people, Jesse, and trapped others with cursed gauntlets. Do you really think he deserves to be alive?"

"I'd argue the death penalty would be a mercy."

Jesse's tone became dark, and uncharacteristically cold, and Petra swears the glow in his once emerald green eyes has shifted to red, but it could have been a trick of the mind. But his gaze doesn't meet hers, his eyes are on his arms, which are folded on the desk. He's specifically looking at his right hand, the one that damn gauntlet had been stuck too.

Regardless, Jesse's tone combined with his response sent a chill down Petra's spine. She chooses not to push her suggestion further.

Due to the lingering side effects, Jesse and Petra have to stay in Beacon Town. For Jesse, the side effects prevent him from going on adventures, for Petra, her side effects, while not as prominent as Jesse's, can hinder her too, so she must stay in Beacon Town until at least some of the more hindering side effects can fade.

Though I'd imagine Petra's lingering side effects, at least the ones that would hinder her fighting skills do go away after a while, but part of the reason she still stays in Beacon Town is to help keep an eye on Jesse since she feels responsible for his condition

There are some days where the desire to be submerged in water is damn near insatiable, especially for Jesse. He usually tries to carry at least a few water breathing potions for these days

Some people thought it was hilarious, others were concerned and eventually Radar had to tell people to just let Jesse and Petra enjoy the water.

A lot of people are intimidated by Jesse's glowing eyes. He has started to wear sunglasses to combat this.

Because of his glowing eyes, Jesse, can at times look intimidating, especially if he is standing still in the dark, barely illuminated by torch light

Petra is more intimidating, imagine going out for a walk at night when a figure suddenly emerges from the water, and glowing red eyes is the first thing you see? Or Petra staring down at you from a rooftop at night. Seeing Petra with her eyes glowing is especially intimidating since her's only glow during surges of adrenaline or when she loses her temper. She lost count of how many people she and Jesse accidentally scared.

Assuming Jesse and Petra didn't get their hands amputated to remove their respective cursed gauntlets, Jesse no longer likes wearing most armor, nor does he like wearing gloves or gauntlets of any kind, as it reminds him of the feeling of being trapped in the Prismarine armor, while Petra can't look at her reflection when her eyes glow and she sometimes has a hard time meeting Jesse's eyes, even with his glasses on, she blames herself for Jesse even getting cursed in the first place. She sometimes ponders why her curse never got as bad.

If Petra and Jesse did lose their right hands, then Petra would definitely have to stay in Beacon Town

Sometimes, Romeo visits Beacon Town to directly report on how many gauntlets were found and safely locked away (in the case that they can't be destroyed), his visits are few and far in between

During these days, Jesse and Petra constantly get violent, intrusive thoughts about Romeo.

Jesse is able to hide it as well as he possibly can, but Petra's eyes can't stop glowing near Romeo as she gets thoughts about killing him right there, that doing so would cure their curse completely, but she knows better.

There's more gauntlets... And as long as there are, clueless adventures can still find them... Slim as it may be.

No one deserves a curse like that.

Well... Almost no one...

It's part of the reason she can't look at her reflection, the glow not only reminds her of Pama, it also reminds her of the curse

And it also reminds Jesse, Ivor, Harper (if I do bring her into this AU) and Lukas of Pama. She has scared Lukas (and sometimes even Jesse) several times because of this.

Romeo actually played around with the curse well before creating the new world. when he started testing cursed gauntlets on people instead of creating what ever abomination that came to mind, most likely intending to use it on Fred and Xara, it became clear something had to be done. Like the game, Fred was unable to make something that would take his powers away in one hit, all he could do was make a new gauntlet, one that wouldn't turn its host into a mindless golem, it would instead turn any admin into a human, given enough hits.

So when Xara saw Petra, partially covered in netherrack or Prismarine (most likely the former), she knew instantly what Romeo had done and it serves as even more fuel for her rage, knowing Romeo is still playing with a dangerous curse, using on innocent people he deems worthy of his attention

Unfortunately, the curse works a little different than how she remembers. It's very likely Romeo changed it a bit since creating the new world, so Xara's advice, needless to say, is a bit inaccurate and it isn't long before she realizes this, probably when a monster (maybe the three headed ghast or an angry prisoner) attempts to or actually does harm Petra, causing the curse to accelerate.

Before, the curse was actually slowed down by danger. This was likely most likely changed as an incentive to do the challenges, that and Romeo probably thought it made things more interesting

I don't think even I can come up with a fitting punishment so a lot is left to the imagination, but he does go through a lot

Romeo still wants to go into The Underneath to fix all the lives he ruined, but he has to be punished on the surface first. He was kept in solitary confinement for a time, with the occasional beating from Petra and maybe even The Ocelots, Jesse could go and either kill him or join the beatings, but he can't bring himself to do so. This goes on until Jesse learned that there are more gauntlets, much to his horror.

Jesse doesn't want the risk of any curious adventurers finding them (even if chances are slim), so, reluctantly, Jesse sends Romeo, under the eyes of a very angry, very aggressive team (if you're bold enough, maybe even members of The New Ocelots) to track them down and find a way to permanently deactivate the curse, or destroy them.

Under no circumstances is Romeo allowed to handle weapons unless absolutely necessary or be near anything that could give him even the slightest advantage against the group. They are to keep an eye on him at all times. When they rest, at least one member must stay awake to keep an eye on Romeo, they take shifts to do this.

When he was told of this, Romeo asked what would happen if one of the gauntlets latched onto him?

In response, Jesse looked at Romeo, dead in the eye, and said "Then you'll understand my pain"

If Xara survives in this au, then Romeo should hope that word doesn't reach her, even if only a few people on the surface know of The Underneath, nevermind a way down there. If Xara figures out that he's powerless, and knows that he's looking for other cursed gauntlets, she might try to track him down herself to kill him. And in the possible scenario she gets herself cursed, I doubt she'd be above removing her hand to remove the curse itself.

No caption, just weird and uncomfortable coughing from White Pumpkin aka Cassie Rose. It's very weird thing from episode 6, season one, directly from files. The cough is very uncomfortable and feels like wet cough? It could be after the fight or what? It's very confusing.

Is it cause of the smoke??

After the mask catches on flames

That makes the most sense to me, it's the only part of the episode that I can think of that would require these

Making this post to document my troubles in getting Minecraft shaders to work on my shitty computer. Stay tuned for updates

Attempt one: the world loaded for a moment, crashed immediately

Attempt two: messed with shaders, still crashed

There might be a compatibility issue. I do play with a lot of mods and I may have a modding addiction I'll have to tinker around some more.

Attempt 3: messed with settings again, game loaded. Lasted longer, at least five seconds before crashing
