^ I posed this question in 2013, thinking there never would be an answer. HOWEVER in this year of 2025 I do have an answer about where I ended up wearing them!

Shortly after posting this, a librarian I knew through doing community theater asked me to portray Dorothy for an interactive Wizard of Oz event her Library was putting on! Those would become my Ruby slippers! (because yes, even though in the book they're silver and this is a library-hosted party thus focused on the books... well, the movie is iconic and I happened to have these laying around sooo)

I did fall down the stairs in them during the dress rehearsal though. Also I haven't seen them in years... like I have no clue what happened to them.
