step one of creating a vampire story: make up a little freak who wants to bite people. step two: add guilt. step three: make up a little freak who wants to be bitten. step four: add guilt.

I will do more polls with more characters if these get any traction, so just pick out of these ones who the movies made you like more, or none if applicable. I'll do ones with wolfpack, Volturi, humans etc later.

I will also do polls about which characters the movies made you like less.

If you watched the movies first and THEN read the books, answer 'Which characters did you like more in the movie than in the book?'

100% Charlie. He's one of my favorite characters in the movies. In the books he is very meh.

Agree, Charlie.

Should pale death, with treble dread, make the ocean caves our bed, God who hears the surges roll, deign to save our suppliant soul.

THE LIGHTHOUSE (2019) dir. Robert Eggers

“I want the relationship that’s healthiest for Bella” why. This is a book about vampires and werewolves and codependency and secrecy that kills you. If Bella were meant to be a normal happy healthy human girl she wouldn’t be in the story in the first place. This is fiction, she isn’t real, characters in stories don’t need to be healthy or live in reality. She deserves to suck blood and live forever if she wants idk

I don't think those of you under the age of I'd say 25 really understand what bizarre times we're living in.

Just a decade ago, claiming that scientists were turning frogs gay made you the laughing stock of the internet.

Now the President of the United States, behind the Seal of the President, can claim that scientists are turning mice transgender in a nationally televised address to Congress and have half the country believe him.

Just in case you see anyone over 30 just rocking back and forth in a corner repeating "how the fuck did we get here" over and over.
