I post mainly about rings of power/tolkien, but i am also into the terror, good omens, star wars, and more. unfortunately (fortunately) the blog is a little chaotic. expect a mix of meta, fanfic, memes, and thirst posting. I ship everything but I do have a special spot in my heart for silvergifting atm.

Ok but imagining Aragorn as King of Gondor is really funny. Like not that he isn't wise and noble and the best person for the job by far, but it's just funny trying to imagine him adjusting to life in an actual castle and going from living outside to being a rich important guy. Someone is going to have to sit him down and explain the concept of fancy soap and having more than one pair of shoes. Arwen's gonna wake up and find him asleep face down on the cold stone floor like he's Tom Hanks in Castaway. He's going to be so pissed when someone tells him he can't help with the dishes.
I think Annatar should be less relatable. He should be pretending to be an elf or elf-adjacent being, but in way over his head. He didn't think this through all the way. Centuries of living with Morgoth and the orc gang left huge gaps in both his general knowledge and his understanding of socially acceptable behaviour. But at the same time, he is fantastically overconfident in his own abilities to the point where everybody just assumes that he always knows what's going on even when he clearly doesn't.
Like Celebrimbor says, "Hey Annatar, pass me that fork, will you?" And Annatar, having spent the last few millennia living in a literal cave and having no idea what this weird elven eccentricity called a fork is, says, "The what?" And then Celebrimbor just laughs, thinking silly Annatar is joking again, and grabs the fork for himself.
Nobody ever catches on.

They are hopefully generic enough to leave a lot of wriggle room for interpretation.
As for the contributions, they can be anything and everything, and they are not limited to creative works.
You can share your paintings, drawings, gifs, stills, videos, fanfics, meta, memes etc., but also compile song lists, write posts gushing over a character or ship, share your head canons, fic recs or your favourite art - whatever you can think of.

Hunt for Gollum this, Tale of Aragorn and Arwen that, I need the media studios to stop thinking about what the general audience wants to see, and start catering to what I, Tumblr user BalrogBalls, wants to see.
And what I want to see is a single-take faux documentary film chronicling twenty four hours of Elrond’s life in Imladris, namely the day of the Council of Elrond, in which the cinematic gimmick is that he’s followed around constantly by
"she said even now there is hope to be found but i cannot see it" boromir x "i'm named estel which means hope" aragorn standing in front of devastated boromir..... make it make sense

The goal is to celebrate Celebrimbor as a character. This is not limited to The Rings of Power series.
