warnings: swearing, niki’s legs >:)
in less than two minutes, niki was able to catch up with you all. probably because of those gigantor freaking legs of his that could kick your ass across the entire globe. however, you were just relieved to finally come home after nearly eight hours in that infernal pit of a place called school. as soon as you pushed opened the door, the fresh air filled your lungs, your nostrils taking in about eighty percent of the air in the world. sad to say, what should have been a pleasant walk home was instead occupied by yunjin and niki bickering back and forth as usual. actually, you didn't mind much because jungwon and sunoo had engaged in a completely separate conversation with you, which drowned out the arguments between thing #1 and #2.
but you sure did start to mind when yunjin and niki were left alone with you, which was only because your sane friends had to take a separate route to get to their houses. this, alas, meant that you would have to put up with thing #1 and thing #2’s shenanigans since they always crashed at your house for a bit before eventually leaving.
and up until you noticed a stranger at your door, you were prepared to let them do just that. who the hell was he?? his oddly attractive back was unlike any you've ever seen, and you were going to do your very best to interrogate him. after all this could be your only chance to find the love of your life.
as you approached the mysterious man, yunjin and niki sneakily stayed behind, flipping out their phones to record your every move. you were unfortunate enough to not notice him turn around, which caused a collision between the two of your bodies. fortunately, he was able to stop you from plummeting down the stairs that led to your front door before you hit the ground. although before you could give him a piece of your mind, you were overcome by his beauty, feeling as though his face was brighter than the sun itself.
› synopsis: the about the extent of how much you enjoyed romance—at least while watching it—was pretty grand. but bleh! you didn’t want any of those corny kdrama scenes to actually happen in your own life. it was quite easy to persuade anyone else of this while you often thought of your fictitious partner before bed. everyone, minus your friends, were convinced with your acting, up until a the most handsome boy moves in just next door. and him being australian was a little bonus, almost like the cherry on top of a sundae.
