i honestly don't know how to say this but the survival of an entire group of people who are going through a active genocide should not have to depend on how well they are able to articulate and present their condition to you in a post.

but it is. a person gets donations to buy necessities if their post ends up being eye catching or something that grabs the reader's attention. what happens to those who cannot make such posts? no one's survival should depend on something like this.

i urge you to help alaa and her two young children. she needs to buy food and other necessities which are very expensive. she also needs to buy firewood regularly to keep warm.

her fundraiser has been verified.

Favorite Ethel Cain song and why? :0

firstly housofpsychoticwomn, i was so happy she included it on Perverts since its such a favorite of mine, it's lyrics are so extremely mocking and so deeply terrifying, it really understands how monstrous obsessive love can feel. my other favorite is Homecoming since that was what she played first when I saw her at the Fonda before it even had a name revealed, was my first time going to a show ever, magical feeling

shed your skin

It's been several weeks but I still think about this piece occasionally and when I remembered what the message meant I started analyzing it again and again and I really really am in love with how the guy on the right is so hyper realistic like a dead body looking almost like a squashed bug that's become a morbid and gross bug body but the girl on the right is just haplessly cutesy and so effervescent I think about this a lot but because it really does capture the experience or at least my experience and it's so haunting somehow yet I can't stop thinking about how it speaks to me in some way

Do you have any book recommendations that have stuff to do with trans stuff pretty please I am bored and would rep books💔

yea ofc! here are some of my favs (srry that these are all transfem related and not transmasc if thats what ur looking for)

Nevada by Imogen Binnie. its a classic and a classic for a reason, a trailblazer of trans novels written by and for trans people. one of my forever favorites.

Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones by Torrey Peters. extremely short and you can find a pdf online, really beautiful and angry in the best way.

A Dream of a Woman by Casey Plett. my favorite of Casey Plett's books and a series of short stories with one longer story running throughout.

Tell Me I’m Worthless by Alison Rumfitt. it starts with a trigger warning by the author that she says she wasn't required to put. At first I found that lame but by the end it's really needed, deeply upsetting and horrific. some of the most upset I've ever been made by a horror novel.
