i’ve mostly ignored the many unhinged reblogs, but i do want to point out that i LOVE tags, both as enticements and warnings, which is why tagging an absolutely normal relationship as ‘age gap’ is so messed up. it will not satisfy the people who want age gaps. it will screen potential stories from people who dislike ACTUAL age gaps. i don’t know how ‘use tags properly’ became ‘i hate tags and the world is too sanitized’ but this is the internet so yes i do, i guess.
