this is a post that is long overdue, considering the fact that i am, regrettably, somewhat always online on tumblr. i’m not sure if anyone who reads this post cares, but i’m posting it anyway for the few who might.

i’ve been extremely sporadic with posting k-pop fics on here, though i have been very active on my sideblogs, writing for other fandoms. i still love seventeen and listen to their music and watch their content whenever i can, but i’ve lost all motivation to write for them. i do feel slightly bad, because i had lots of ideas for fics that will probably never see the light of day, but it is what it is :’)

Your first instinct, when Minghao drops the news about the reunion tour, is to shake your head and vehemently say no.

“Absolutely not,” you say, holding up a hand like that might somehow physically block the idea from reaching you. Minghao simply raises an eyebrow and adjusts his glasses.

“It’s not a request,” he replies, flipping through the stack of papers he brought with him. “It’s happening whether you’re on board or not. Your contract’s airtight.” 

“That’s impossible,” you scoff, folding your arms defensively. “I specifically remember agreeing to no future projects involving him.”

“no.”

mingyu decides that you are mad at him. he looks up at you, sprawled on the couch with his legs dangling off the other side.

“do you know what i found wedged in between the washing machine and the dryer today?” you ask him.

“what?” mingyu slips off the couch with a groan. he’s growing old, he thinks. both of you have crow’s feet at the corners of your eyes, but he likes to think of that as the mark of a life spent well with each other. the other day, you’d found a gray hair on his head while he was shaving and instead of sympathising with him, you’d laughed.

you purse your lips. “four socks.”

he winces. “oh.”

OHHHH I GET IT NOW 😭😭😭 WAHAHA thank you for clarifying everything! and yes omg it’s insane that there are so many people who are interested in me and my writing and i’m truly so grateful for every single one 💗

oh boy. okay so in the accidental one-night stand, there’s that scene that takes place in a taco bell right? i wrote that scene one evening, and the next day, i had a little get together with my high school friends. which just so happened to be at a taco bell.

now all this was fine but the thing is, my ex-boyfriend is also part of my high school friend group & though we broke up on good terms, we hadn’t contacted each other for around a year. until the next day (the day after i wrote the taco bell scene) when he texted me on instagram & told me he would like to be friends again. and similar to how wonwoo and the mc were being super awkward with each other until they were left alone, my ex and i were being awkward until our friends went to order their food and it was just him and me. AND just like how wonwoo and the mc had a conversation about how they didn’t want things to be awkward between them, my ex told me he didn’t want things to be awkward between us either

so since it was very very similar to what i’d written just the evening before, my best friend called the fic “taco bell and sons” and it sort of Stuck 😭
