I've also been considering the name Nori, cause it's an algae and fits the Zora's aquatic theme, and you can also use it in food (which is Link's first love as we all know). And also! I've been wanting to rewatch Barbie Mermaidia. If you know you know.

headcanon time! I imagine the Zora have a superstition around naming their babies after food, originating from the time during which the Zora lived in the ocean, where being eaten by some huge creature was a very real possibility (one that Sidon personally experienced, if you recall the giant octorok incident). Nori would be a good compromise, i suppose, cause it doesn't immediately evoke food but is still related to it.
