23 years old, she/they! it’s richie toziering time *richie toziers all over the place*

hey i’m kat welcome to my ITblog. the place where you have to finally face the thing in the dark!

  • special interests are IT, stephen king’s works and bad horror
  • currently reading: dolores claiborne 1992
  • i’m bad at talking to people but do feel free to dm/send asks. esp about r+e, corn plate esque richie tozier details, sking novels, fanfiction…..

i tag all flashing gifs and videos as ‘flashing’

As of this writing, Richie is still knocking 'em dead. He's got a part in a movie. He co-stars with another comic- a guy any of the Lucky Seven could've told you looks and acts a lot like Eddie Kaspbrak.

O Great Tozierer and King scholar.

I ask you humbly: At this point in your journey, what are your two highest and two lowest ranked King works and why?

Me: Lets get the fuck out of dodge before this ends worse than one of RICHARD BACHMAN’S books! who’s with me!!!!!!

Okay sooooo obviously my number one by a country mile is IT but just to keep this insightful I won’t count it (she’s in a league of her own anyways): top 2 is Pet Sematary followed by Christine! Pet Sematary I was instantly taken by from the very first word to the very last, it really scared me and is just a perfect tragedy imo. Christine obsession grew on me much more slowly and sinisterly, I think Christine herself is just such a fantastic villain she’s my lady gaga, and the theme of growing up & apart really got to me.

My bottom 2 rankings are dreamcatcher and the running man in descending order. I struggle so much with king’s more macho No Girls Allowed type stories…also Ben Richards of Running Man fame is possibly the worst protagonist ever. one of his first lines is legitimately just him blurting a racial slur and I’m meant to root for him?!
