Sometimes the reason Jon doesn't immediately reply to Damian's text is because he's watching a 2-hour Long YouTube video about different types of wood from different states across America.
He then immediately sends that same video to Damian afterwards.
Damian: Jonathan!!
Jon: *sends 2-hour long youtube video about different types of wood from different states across America*
Damian: Jon... I'm not gonna watch this
Damian, 2 hours later: I find myself to be quite fond of the southern live oak...
Wanted something light and cute, me and @ily-ilysfm were messaging each other about headcannons and I absolutely loved the one they had about Damian just burrowing himself against Jon when they slept, that was a huge inspiration for this one.
I put our boys at around 17 & 18

"Don't you think you spoil him too much?"
"Mh?"
Jon looked over at Tim from where he was lying, on his side with Damian burrowed into his chest.
Both boys had just gotten back from school, later than usual since Jon had baseball practice afterwards, and Damian always stayed behind to watch until Jon was finished.
It gave Jon butterflies to look over at the stands and see Damian amongst the girlfriends of his other teammates. It made Jon incredibly happy that even if Damian didn't care much for sports, he was always there to watch him and wait just so they could go home together.
Plus, he also tried harder during practice when he knew Damian was watching.

Jon is having an existential crisis about realizing he has feelings for his best friend. He is going through it, questioning everything he's known and Damian is over here in background like "Jon... I've told you to take the garbage three times already... What the hell have you been doing!?"
Jon: I am going through something right now! Okay!
Damian: Well can you go through it while taking out the trash please!
And then Jon proceeds to question if he actually does have feelings for Damian cus he was being kind of a jerk just now but like an hour or two later they're watching a movie, Damian's giving unnecessary commentary, Jon looks over and sees Damian relaxed, like genuinely relaxed, walls are down, he's content, comfortable with his head resting against Jon's shoulder like it belongs there, like Jon is his safe space.
And Jon gets to thinking that maybe he doesn't mind being yelled at to do chores as long as the person yelling at him is Damian.
