I'd love to see the Titans' actual 1980s designs for you 1980s inspired fan arts!

You know, I very nearly did a design based on Beast Boy's red and white suit from the 80-90s comics instead. But I did the purple, black, and white one because I wanted those colors. I can't help myself; I just love drawing with pink and purple.

Thanks for sharing your ideas! All the best, AJ

RAVEN AND BEAST-BOY

1980's inspired Raven and Beast-Boy.

He was supposed to get a retro, jungle themed Guns and Roses shirt, but alas, I got lazy. I didn't finish designing it...or coloring it. I just made the line-art purple and called it a day. I do plan to design the shirt properly next time tho.

As always, inspired by the incomparable Gabriel Picolo

Raven and Starfire: Sleepover set and pajama designs

I'm back on my design BS. My friend is a part of a not for Profit cosplay organization called "The Bombshells". They recently put together a calendar of their sleepover in cosplay photoshoot. I thought it a was really fun idea and right up my alley. So I give to you my ideas for Raven and Starfire. I think I should do the Young Justice ladies or the Batgirls next.

As it always is with my work, happy zooming in on the details if you are so inclined. I'm kinda proud of Starfire's phone case and Raven's duffle LOL

Why is Batman your favorite Superhero?

Hey Anonymous ;)

That's a good question, and I ought to have a good answer for it. But I kinda... just don't. It quite honestly boils down to aesthetic. I really do pick the media I get into by the fashion. I spend a lot more time drawing comics than I do reading them XD. I can't seem to help myself. I draw during lectures, at the movies, in the margins of every textbook, comic book, novel, and Bible I've ever owned. I still color in the black and white ink illustrations in my super old Nacy Drew books.

So Batman? I got into this whole mess because I liked the black suit with the little ears. It's kind of embarrassing to admit, but there's really not much more to it than that.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me a message <3

Be blessed, AJ

Little Mermaids at the Laundromat

I saw a lot of other artists drawing both versions of Ariel and I thought it looked like fun. So, I made some funky, silly art with bright colors. TBH, The Little Mermaid was never my favorite story, but the aesthetic of the 1989 was really gorgeous. I’m excited to see all the new designs and art in the new film with Halle Bailey.
