I made a list of musicals I have either seen straight-through at least once, or listened to the cast recording multiple times and consider myself conversant in them. Can't tell if it's a lot or less than you'd expect.

an argument could be made that the righteous gemstones is one of the most feminist comedies of all time because unlike, say, always sunny or seinfeld, where dee and elaine started off as more sensible than the male leads, or arrested development or succession, where lindsay and shiv are usually a bit more even-keeled compared to most of the characters, judy gemstone is absolutely batshit insane, just a sex-crazed freak with no filter, with shiv’s delusional arrogance injected with roman’s degeneracy, human equivalent of cujo the dog, a true icon
