HANE YASSER

@haniyassersposts

Hani Yasser, 26 years old, I used to work in the field of social services from the Gaza Strip, occupied Palestine.

Hello, my name is Hani, I am 26 years old, from Gaza.

I studied social work at university, but due to the lack of job opportunities, I had to work as a taxi driver to meet my needs and those of my family. I never imagined that my life would change in such a tragic way, but everything collapsed when the war on Gaza began in October of the previous year.

Our house was in a remote area near the border, one of the most targeted areas by the occupiers. In an instant, we found ourselves facing the worst nightmare anyone could experience: war, bombing, the destruction of homes, and the massacres committed by the occupiers against our people, including children, the elderly, and women. Death threatened us at every moment, and we were forced to make the hardest decisions.

Since the war began, we decided to leave everything behind, starting with our home, which was completely destroyed, to our previous lives. We began our first displacement journey in an attempt to escape death. We left our area in the first hour of the invasion, and the roads were nearly empty of cars, as moving vehicles were targeted by the occupiers. Our situation was catastrophic, as the roads were filled with destruction, and fuel was unavailable, so we had to walk on foot.

We, my family and I, set off on a long and arduous journey, not knowing when it would end. With us were my parents: my father Yasser (55 years old), and my mother Manal (50 years old), who suffers from chronic illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure, my sister Ameena (29 years old), who carries her children Nasser (7 years old), Bara'a (5 years old), and Adam (3 years old). I was also with my brother Ibrahim (15 years old), who was in desperate need of protection and guidance.

The occupiers had imposed harsh conditions on the paths we took to reach the south, where we were prohibited from carrying anything with us and subjected to thorough searches. The first checkpoint we passed was 6,000 meters away from where we were, and after the checkpoints, there was no transportation available, even animals were prohibited. Only a horse-drawn cart was the only means of transportation we could find.

After a long and exhausting journey on foot, we endured the hardships: the children were exhausted, and my elderly parents and sick mother were in desperate need of help. We finally reached the checkpoint, where there were hundreds of people waiting their turn to enter the area that the occupiers claimed was safe. It took us 8 hours before our turn came, and after being checked and verified, we were allowed to pass. We then walked another 3 kilometers before we reached a bus that transported us to Deir al-Balah, where we stayed in a school converted into a shelter for displaced people.

The school was crowded with displaced people, more than 10,000 people crammed into the space. There was no room in the classrooms, so we had to live in the schoolyard under the walls of the fence. We were provided with a simple tent made of cloth and wood thanks to help from some volunteers, but this didn't last long. After a month, we were told we would have to leave the place.

We moved again, this time to the Rafah area, where some organizations provided us with tents to stay in, but over time, we had to leave that area as well. We moved to the Zawayda area in the center, where my family still lives in a school that was under construction. Here we are now, living in tragic conditions, sharing classrooms with five other families. We are 7 members in the same space, facing the daily challenges of life inside this school.

But the story doesn’t end here, as every day is a new battle. We face difficulty in obtaining food, water, and healthcare, especially with my sick mother and my father who needs care. The situation has become more complicated as time passes, and the needs are urgent. With every difficulty we face, the hope that you might help us rebuild our lives after this tragedy is what keeps our hearts intact.

We are in urgent need of your support. Your donations, no matter how small, will significantly improve our lives. They will enable us to provide food, healthcare, shelter, and help us rebuild our lives after this catastrophe. With every donation, you are giving hope to a family living in darkness, and you become a part of our story of resilience and survival.

I appeal to you to stand with us in this struggle. Please click on the link to support our campaign. Together, we can change our reality and bring hope to our children and families.
My campaign is legitimate and fully documented. You can verify this through the following links:
Thank you for your concern.

for over a year i've been seeing palestinians campaigning for funds for their survival across social media. i see Palestinians in tumblr notes, twitter replies, youtube comment sections, tiktoks, instagram, etc. there's no social media i regularly use where i haven't seen multiple posts a day from Palestinians asking for help and to be heard. of course, i share and donate what i can. but what gets me is that if I am seeing posts every day then so are the millionaires and billionaires and politicians with the power to end their suffering...and they don't!!!!!

it makes me sick. according to forbes there are over 2700 billionaires in the world with a combined wealth of trillions. it would take less than even 1% of that to fill the gofundmes of Palestinians trying to rebuild their lives. yet the majority of money in these gofundmes is from ordinary folks scrounging spare change. its heartening in a way to watch so many with relatively little pool our resources to help others. but it also makes me so angry because i know there are people with more money than anyone in history seeing the same faces and gofundmes and are doing nothing.

so i'd really appreciate it if you could all help me spotllght Hani Alanqar's campaign. Hani is @haniyassersposts, is only 26, and currently sheltering in a school in Gaxa with his young siblings. He needs 25k to escape the genocide with his sick mother and father and has so far only raised 5k. His campaign is vetted #5 here. let's keep doing what we can to help until Palestine is free.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and for writing this post. Your words mean so much to me, bringing a ray of hope during these difficult times. I deeply appreciate your kindness."

"Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference. Your support restores hope for those who have lost everything and helps rebuild lives for families in need. Thank you to everyone standing with us."

I am making this post because for the last couple days, I have been speaking to a young man from Gaza named Hani, and I want to help draw attention to his campaign. He is only 26, and before the attacks from Israel began he used to work in social services in the Gaza strip, but now much of his time is devoted to trying to keep his remaining loved ones alive in the midst of the destruction and loss caused by Israel's ongoing genocide of Palestinians. The goal of this campaign is to help provide aid for him and his nine family members. He must provide for his younger siblings (all aged from 3 to 7 years), as well as his mother, who is chronically ill and can not even stand on her own, and his father, who has become a broken shell of his former self from the horrors of everyday life in the midst of devastation. He has expressed to me that it feels as if the world is ignoring the struggles of his family, and he often feels like the world is forgetting about them. Please share this family's story, and show them that you care about their suffering. Even just sharing this post as well as their other campaign posts will give them hope and show them that not all of the world is watching in silence, that there are people out there who care and are willing to lend a helping hand. But it is very important to donate as well if you have the funds. Even just 5 or 10 dollars is a step towards helping them escape the genocide in Gaza. Currently Hani's family is living in small room in a converted school with a few other families. It is hard to get food, and Hani needs access to medical care for his mother and his father, who is sick. So far there campaign has only received 5k out of the 25k they need to escape Gaza, so it's very important that you share and donate to this campaign and show them some support. The campaign has been verified by 90-ghost and Shab Hussein, and it is number 5 on the Gazavetters list.

Please share this post and donate to this campaign if you can. Hani and his family are counting on help from people like you. Don't let them suffer in silence. Raise your voices and give them hope!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your great support and for sharing my story.

Your words have been a source of hope for us during this difficult time.

We encourage everyone to join us and help in any way possible. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference. 💖💖

Save Hani's family!!!

Hani Alanqar @haniyaseer03 lives with his family in Gaza. They once lived a peace and happy life before the war began. However their home, once a place of security and joyful memories, has now been reduced to rubble. The Alanqar family was forced to flee for their lives, traveling 15 kilometers to the south of Gaza to escape bombing and death. Since then, their lives have been eclipsed by suffering and fear.

Like everyone in Gaza, Hani and his family have been suffering from the lack of food, medical care, and other basic necessities available. Hani's father is sick, and his mother requires constant medical care, which is extremely hard to get in Gaza right now. His younger siblings have been lacking the food they need, putting their health and growth at risk. The whole Alanqar family has not had any safe or comfortable shelter for a long time.

€3,143 / €25,000

Hani's final goal of €25,000 is not very high when compared to the costs of being trapped in Gaza, and the immensity of living under a genocide. However, despite having a very achievable goal, donations have been few and far between. Currently, he is at less than 12% of his goal!

This is not enough for Hani to buy the vital medical care and food his family need to survive. Hani has worked so hard and so diligently to keep his beloved family alive. Please, don't let his effort and love be in vain. Help them live. You can make a difference. Through your action, you can help them survive, and live happy lives once again someday.

Tagging for reach (dm me to be removed):

No donations for the last 10 hours!!!

Hani and his family rely on your help for their survival! They urgently need money to buy food and medical care, please don't let them down! They can't afford for their campaign to slow down like this. Please share and donate, support them however you can!

Dear friends,

I’m sharing my story and my fundraising campaign to support my family, who have been devastated by war. Every share or small contribution can make a big difference. Please help spread the campaign and invite others to support us. Thank you to everyone standing with me. 🙏🍉🕊🌹

Hani Alanqar

Received an ask to reblog this, Go support them!

Hani reached out to me to add my support to his fundraiser.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for adding some words to my post. Your support gives us a big boost and brings hope to our hearts. Your words were like a light in this difficult time, and we are very grateful for this kind support.🌷🍉🌹❤

In Norway we celebrate christmas eve more than christmas day, so today is christmas for me. I’m writing this before our christmas dinner. I want to say it has been a good but tough year, and today I’m thinking of my friends in Gaza. It has been an honor and a gift to be allowed to help and be in contact with them, but terrifying to hear their stories and know how much danger they face every day. For the new year, I wish them safety and peace, and I hope that whatever holiday you celebrate, you can be willing to help them this year. That is my wish

I’m sharing their fundraiser again in the hopes that you can show them some love and support

I hope you will share this post and donate to help them, they really need and deserve help

Thank you for your kind words and for remembering the people of Gaza during this special time. We deeply appreciate your support and humanity during these difficult circumstances.

We wish you a joyful Christmas filled with peace and love, and may the new year bring goodness to you and your family. ❤

another way to help a wonderful family

hi!!! @haniyassersposts has asked me to spotlight his campaign. he is the brother of ibrahim @wolf-aid who has a special place in my heart. i know long posts do not do much for these campaigns anymore so i'll try to be brief. hani is caring for his large family, which includes young children. they need these funds for their survival especially as winter rages on and the occupation tears through more and more of gaza each day.

if you have anything at all to give, PLEASE give. everyone's campaigns are slowing down and i fear that it's apathy causing this. i don't want any of us to grow apathetic

"Thank you so much for sharing my story and writing this post. Your words and support mean a lot to me and my family. I am deeply grateful for your kindness and for helping me reach others. Thank you for your care."
"Your donation is not just financial support; it is a new hope and a lifeline for a family that has lost everything. Through your generosity, we can regain some stability and build a better future. Every contribution makes a difference, no matter how small. Thank you for your compassion and humanity."

If you are, I hope you continue to do so, and if you aren't, I hope you start doing it. We cannot forget about Palestinians and their suffering, but most importantly, their resistance. @haniyassersposts is one of many Palestinians currently suffering the genocide in Gaza, and he and his family need our attention and support

Hani and his family were displaced from their home due to the bombings. They barely have access to clean drinking water, and they don't have proper protection against the cold. Many of his family members also need constant support, such as his older parents and his sibling with health issues. Until recently, they had to sleep in a tent that would constantly get flooded. They suffer a lot, but they hold on to hopes of leaving to a safe place and living a normal, stable life again

Which is why Hani started a campaign on august, raising funds to evacuate his family out of Gaza and secure them with basic needs. Funds raised here will be used both for daily basic necessities and their evacuation. However, this campaign is moving very slowly, now only sitting at €6,003/€25,000. Please, I encourage you to share this campaign, and donate to it if you are able to. Hani is a very kind man, and all he wants is for his family to live a stable, safe life again, and to not be forgotten. So please help in any way you can: share, donate, and most importantly, do not forget about him, his family or any other Palestinians. Keep up with the situation, and keep talking about it

Hani's campaign has been verified by gazavetters (line 5 on their spreadsheet) and shared by el-shab-hussein and 90-ghost

Thank you so much for your support and for standing by me. What you’ve done means so much to me and my family, helping us face these difficult circumstances. Your words weren’t just letters; they were a ray of hope in the midst of darkness.

Your donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in my family’s life. You are the hope that rebuilds what the war has destroyed and the helping hand that eases suffering. Contribute, even a little—because a little becomes a lot with compassionate hearts.

Let's help Hani and his family @haniyassersposts

Hani's story:

Hello, my name is Hani Alanqar, I am 26 years old, from Gaza. My life was turned upside down in an instant, just like hundreds of thousands of others here.

I was living a simple life with my family, but after the recent war, we were left with nothing but fear and suffering.

We live today in a world of silence, a heavy silence that is slowly killing us.

We are now living in an unfinished school, sharing a classroom with five other families.

My life and my family's lives are in danger.

My sick father, my mother who requires constant medical care, and my younger siblings who suffer from hunger and fear – we all need help now, not tomorrow.

I'm here to ask you to stand by us. Your donation today, no matter how small, could save our lives.

Let's help Hani and his beautiful family. Any amount, even a dollar can help.

If you're unable to donate, please share this post to help spread Hani's story.

Thank you so much for your care and support! This means a lot to me and my family. May God bless you and your efforts, and I wish you all the best.

BRING HOPE BACK TO US

Since August 27th, Hani has been pleading for help but his messages are met with silence.

His mother is sick and suffers chronic pain, her health worsens by the day, even then he cares for her and all his siblings ranging from 3 to 7 years old.

Even a small gesture like answering his messages and donating even €5 could revive their hope and make them feel like they are still a part of this world.

Verified here, here and here.

€5,325/€25,000

CHOOSE KINDNESS!!!

GIVE BACK A BIT OF HOPE

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the post you wrote to support me. Your words were more than just letters; they were a ray of hope and a motivation to keep going. I’m truly grateful for you standing by me in this difficult journey.

To everyone reading this: your help, no matter how small, can make an enormous difference. Any donation, even the smallest, can change an entire life and restore hope to those living in unimaginable conditions. All I ask is that you lend a helping hand in any way you can. Thank you for your care and humanity.

Do not give up on Hani

When @hanifamilys-blog reached out to me, it was with the belief that everyone had given up on him and his family. Things in Gaza have grown very dire. Hani has written posts in his own words including this one that I recommend reading, as it sheds light on just how much he has been through.

I need to emphasize: it is so important that even if you cannot donate, you need to share posts for those in Gaza. Hani shouldn't have to feel like the world sees him and his family as a lost cause. I beg of you not to give up. It is so important to let people like Hani know that you see them.

If you can donate, it would help immensely. There is a long way to go, but that is no reason to provide no help at all. Medical help, food, shelter, all of these things are things you can help with by sharing and donating. Thank you.

"I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this post and supporting our campaign. Your words have touched our hearts and given us hope during these difficult times. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing the amazing post. Your support wasn't just helpful; it’s a powerful boost for the campaign and contributes significantly to spreading it to as many people as possible. You truly don’t know how much this support means to me and how it will make a real difference. Your words and actions reflect the spirit of solidarity and humanity, and I’m more grateful than I can express.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope your continued support will keep making this incredible impact!"

hani @hanifamilys-blog has reached out to me and asked me to tell you all about him. i won't take up too much of your time, so here are the basics:

  • hani is 26 and a social worker from gaza.
  • he was forced to leave his family home when the war broke out. currently he and his family are displaced and staying in a school.

his family consists of:

  • his mom, manal, 50 years old. she suffers from diabetes and hypertension.
  • his dad, yasser, 55 years old
  • his sisters, safaa (23) and baraa (5)
  • his brothers, ibrahim (15), nasser (7), and adam (3)

they've had to travel through the devastation by foot, with hani carrying little adam on his back. the kids cried at the sight of israeli soldiers at checkpoints, because they were so afraid of them. they had to wait for hours at each checkpoint. can you imagine the terror, knowing the way israelis treat palestinians? knowing how cruel the iof is?

they've been displaced so many times. first they stayed in a school in deir al balah, with 5 families in each room. then they were asked to leave and go to rafah, where they stayed in a tiny tent for four months. but their tent flooded during the heavy rains and now they're in a school again, once more with 5 families in one room. you can read about it in hani's own words here.

right now they're just struggling to get through the days. little adam, the 3 year old, has a persistent cough that won't go away. hani's scared and so, so worried for his family. he's also trying to navigate a platform he is not familiar with, just so his story can reach more people. that's why i'm sharing this. i want to help.

you can, too. hani needs to raise a total of €25k, but for now he only has €4230. it's not enough. i think by now we're all aware of the high prices of daily necessities in gaza. please click and go through the article. try to imagine how you could afford that.

all hani is trying to do is get his family through the days and get them somewhere safe. they've suffered so much. please don't let them lose hope. all he asks is that people remember them, people acknowledge them. i think we can do more than that. i think we can come together and help him as much as we each can.

i am putting important links below; please donate whatever you can. if you can't at all, then please reblog. don't leave hani alone. don't leave his family alone. if you're with palestine, now is the time to show it, even if all you can do is reblog and share hani's story.

thank you.

Urgent: Please Save Hani and His Family!!!

Hani Alanqar (@hanifamilys-blog) and his family lived happily in North Gaza before their home was destroyed by Israeli forces, forcing them to leave behind everything they’ve ever known and flee south through the ongoing conflict, fearing for their lives the entire journey. At this moment, they are taking shelter in an abandoned school with five other families and have no reliable access to food, water, or adequate shelter. Hani has younger siblings who are starving, his father is ill, and his mother suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes which she is unable to afford treatment for. They are all suffering greatly, and are in desperate need of help.

When he reached out to me, he asked not for money or donations, just for an answer. Just for someone to ask him how he was doing so he could at least know that somebody heard him and saw him as human. These are not just statistics, these are REAL PEOPLE who are enduring unimaginable hardship alongside the rest of their fellow Gazans.

Please, if you even have a few dollars to spare, don’t let Hani lose hope. He and his family are in very real danger of dying if their goal isn’t met. He is only 16% of the way there despite the moderate attention his original post got, and needs money as quickly as possible.

I have lately noticed, along with many of my friends from Palestine, that much of the support that the people of Gaza rely on to survive has been disappearing. It started pretty slowly a few months ago but at this point donations have slowed to a trickle for most of the Gazans I’ve talked to.

I can sort of understand that people are burnt out and out of money. I am most certainly both of those things too, but I really don’t see how that counts as an excuse to stop doing your best to help the people of Palestine.

When Hani Yasser reached out to me, he wasn’t even asking for donations, he just wanted someone to talk to. He just wanted to know that there was someone out there who still cared. I was a little surprised, honestly. I mean, folks on this website talk a lot about how much they care about the Palestinian cause, right? Lots of talk about how horrible the colonial entity of Israel is, lots of talk about war crimes, that kind of thing. Has it come to a point where the geopolitics matter more to people than the human suffering of the Palestinians? Have a people become nothing more than a cause in the eyes of the world?

I really don’t have answers. I don’t speak for anyone but myself, and I really don’t know enough to say with confidence what is causing support to die out like this. Please don’t leave the people of Palestine behind.

Hani and his family deserve better than to be ignored. They deserve better than to endure the worst that war has to offer alone. I don’t know what I have to do to convince you to help. Just please do.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing the post! Your support means so much to me during these tough times. You’re truly making a difference, and your words give me hope to keep going. I hope together we can achieve the goal and reach as many people as possible. Thanks again for everything, you’re always in my thoughts! 🌷🍉❤🌹

For some reason tumblr won’t let me directly reply to my asks so I can’t tell if @haniyassersposts will even see this post (hopefully he will)

I pray for you and your family I can’t help financially as I’m currently unemployed. If anyone sees this please help him and anyone who asks.

I’m aware there are a lot a scam accounts that act like people in need but that shouldn’t mean the actual people in need should be left without hope. I’d rather loose money with a slight thought that maybe they got it. And it is a scam at least I tried.

Again I pray for the safety of you and your family

"Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. Having people like you gives us hope and the strength to carry on despite the difficult circumstances. We are grateful to everyone who contributes in any way, whether through their prayers or by sharing the story with others. Thank you for caring."

heyhey, while you’re here, Hani Alanqar (@haniyassersposts) has raised less than 6k euros out of the the 25k he needs to escape Gaza with his sick parents. he’s only 26 years old, and he’s currently sheltering in an unfinished school with his young siblings and 5 other families. his mother needs constant medical care, and he can’t afford medicine for her, nor food for his siblings.
