(Female / 34 )Just a place for me to stalk awesome people, save funny things, and just make a general nuisance of myself. Sometimes I may even post things.

MHA One Shot: Trust

One-shot / Pg - Pg16 (?)

Genre: Romance

Character(s): Shinso Hitoshi

Warnings: Some suggestive themes, Food Play,

Note: Like with the Kiri one-shot, Shinso here has been aged up to over 20. And is an Underground Hero like his Proud Sensei/Papa Aizawa.

A low hum escaped Hitoshi as he traced your lips with a honey dipped finger, pausing for only a breath to admire the golden shine before capturing them with his own; tongue slipping in to spread the sweetness for just a moment before pulling back and leaving you aching for more. In return, you took your time in selecting just the right slice of apple off the plate resting on the tray beside the two of you - eyes meeting his for a moment as you dipped it into the warm caramel. After slowly swirling it for what felt like an eternity to you both, you raised the slice to his lips and leaned in as he took a bite; waiting for him to swallow before moving in to press your lips together once more.

And so the game went - for each treat there was a kiss, and for each kiss he caressed your hip while you shifted on his lap just enough to make a soft purr rumble out of his throat. When you were out of fruit, then you moved onto your fingers; and the lips were no longer the only target. Shivering as he painted a stripe of warm chocolate down your neck, you had only seconds to prepare before he was nipping and sucking at both the chocolate and the flesh underneath. Whining softly as he pulled back, your eyes met once more before his lips were on yours again for the briefest of moments. In return you drizzled the last of the caramel over his toned chest, carelessly dropping the ramekin onto the tray as you lowered your head to nip and suck as his head rolled back and his breath hitched; the salt of his skin making the taste intoxicating.    You had barely cleaned all the caramel off before he was pulling you into a deep kiss, hand clutching your hip as the other caressed your cheek. When you parted, breathless, you hummed softly as his arm snaked around your waist to pull you closer to him; his other raising up once more to cup your cheek. Ghosting his lips over yours in a not-quite kiss, both of you smiled.

“Do you trust me?”

“Always.”

You were born with a unique set of eyes, ones that allowed you to view the sea as clear as glass. By the time you got old enough to join your ship’s crew, you were smart enough to know not to tell them about everything you saw below the waves.

Dunno how to put it properly into words but lately I find myself thinking more about that particular innocence of fairy tales, for lack of better word. Where a traveller in the middle of a field comes across an old woman with a scythe who is very clearly Death, but he treats her as any other auntie from the village. Or meeting a strange green-skinned man by the lake and sharing your loaf of bread with him when he asks because even though he's clearly not human, your mother's last words before you left home were to be kind to everyone. Where the old man in the forest rewards you for your help with nothing but a dove feather, and when you accept even such a seemingly useless reward with gratitude, on your way home you learn that it's turned to solid gold. Where supernatural beings never harm a person directly and every action against humans is a test of character, and every supernatural punishment is the result of a person bringing on their own demise through their own actions they could have avoided had they changed their ways. Where the hero wins for no other reason than that they were a good person. I don't have the braincells to describe this better right now but I wish modern fairy tales did this more instead of trying to be fantasy action movies.

"In [fairy tales], power is rarely the right tool for survival anyway. Rather the powerless thrive on alliances, often in the form of reciprocated acts of kindness - from beehives that were not raided, birds that were not killed but set free or fed, old women who were saluted with respect. Kindness sown among the meek is harvested in crisis."

-Rebecca Solnit

The Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Oconee, and many other tribes created Trail trees or trail marker trees. They were an ancient form of land and water navigational aid, as well as a marking system to denote areas of significant importance such as ceremonial sites. These trees were used by many, if not all, of the Native American tribes and later by fur traders and early pioneers. The Trail Marker Trees differed in their appearance and formation from tribe to tribe and from region to region. Examples of these trees have been found all across the United States and throughout Canada.
