I think the most infuriating about Americans refusal to grow up is it doesn’t lend them to being more empathic to children. Instead they justify the bombing of children in between the Stevens Universe blogging. They position their adult childhood against actual children.

It isn’t lost on me that the country that most robs children of their childhoods globally has a domestic population obsessed with never growing up (and that’s why you can’t blame them for not doing anything about it, our schools are so bad uwu).
