IT'S FMABRUARY

Day 8: Homunculus

Now I only decided to participate on the 4th so i had to rush, both to make the pattern, and get the actual stitching and custom hoop done in time.

I really enjoyed it tho and will be doing a few more prompts in cross stitch for the month :)

I'm going to be sharing the pattern I made below the cut if anyone wants to make it as well.

FMABRUARY day 13: soul

It took a while to decide if i wanted to do armor or soul for Als blood seal but i thought this was more appropriate

I used a thread with a red gradient and i absolutely love how it turned out. Makes it more blood like.

Like last time this is a pattern of my own design and will be under the cut

FMABRUARY day 16: family

I think one of my favorite reveals in fma is that the flamel Ed and Al wear isn't just a random alchemy thing, and instead a sign of their teacher.

This was my first time dying fabric and i had a blast! it's a really fun, if time consuming project.

Was there anything else i could do for this one? nope.

I loved everything about this one, the design took my like 3 hours to make then even longer for the actual stitching but it turned out SO GOOD

and yeah i did the Mustang rap on the edges

FMABRUARY day 20:Life

TRINGHAM BROTHERS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!

The Tringham boys from 03 are some of my favorite characters added in 03 and i really loved their unique take on alchemy.

Like usual, pattern under the cut.

actually i love the fact that ed is completely distant with everyone else even after living with them for two years, and then he meets noah and in less than five minutes ed causes an explosion in the fair and runs away with her

ed and noah are so... good together dude for real

noah is the only one who can tell ed is depressed and out of this world. no one believes ed that he lived in a world with alchemy. no one believes any of ed's original world. but noah could tell he missed his family and he has no home to go back to

and noah can finally trust someone too? everyone turned their back on her. even the other roma women, they sold noah to the nazis. ed is legit the only person that believes noah and doesn't buy the stereotypes around roma women ("they just want to steal your money"). like remember noah calls out for help but no one listens to her? but then ed straight up just rockets the nazis away and explodes the place like DUDE that's so badass

most importantly ed doesn't shut her out and doesn't speak over the prejudice she goes through, ed asks "what would you like to be called?" "roma". yeah this is the bare minimum but considering we're in the 1920s a decade filled with ignorance and prejudice, people like ed are really really important, ed apparently does help protect people from the nazis and the war that would follow. of course he can't stop it from happening but he can do his part.

ed and noah are so good together... why the hell aren't they more popular....
