“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Mathew 6:26

"I'm going to live my life the way God wants me to because God isn't playing. God is not a God of cupcakes and rainbows. We have to realize how holy God is because once you realize how holy God is that is when you start living life the way you're supposed to. God is not to be played with. He is merciful and loving, but he is also just."
Some of you have trouble seeing, don't you? Some of you have even worse eyes than mine, although, Lord willing, I'll be getting my eyes "fixed" next month. But even if your eyes work correctly, that doesn't mean you always see straight. There are different kinds of seeing. There's seeing with your eyes, but that's the least important kind. The most important kind of seeing is to see things from God's perspective, to see yourself as God sees you, to see your neighbor and the world and God's plan as he sees them (1 Corinthians 13:1-14 & Luke 18:31-43).
[5] “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
I don’t want mainstream Christianity. I want Jesus. Stop playing with me.
Popular christianity is not biblical. DON’T follow it.

Jesus is our teacher and our guide. For every moment, every plan, every mission, God is there to instruct us, guide us and never lose sight over us. Like a father equips his kids for his first ride on a bicycle, so does God in every circumstance in ours lives.
During the good times we trust God and have the biggest faith in Him, and we sing, and we praise, but once a small bad situation happens, you gotta keep that same faith there in your heart. He promised He’ll never abandon you. He’s a worldy being to lie. He’s your Father, and you’re His special creation.
Don’t be afraid to let God be in control, because He’ll prepare you for any plans He has for you. It can be scary because we can’t see what’s going on nor where we are going because God doesn’t fully reveal His plans with each one of us. But this is why…
So you learn to trust Him through every light and dark place in your life. He might be moving silently, but He’s moving. You think you don’t hear Him, but He remembers every word and every tear. You are His most important creation.
Trust in Him. Depend on God. Give Him all your burdens and plans and He’ll take care of the rest.
The Sea of Galilee in Israel is known for violent, sudden storms. Strong winds can create huge waves that threaten seafarers, like we see in the book of Mark.
The night the disciples and Jesus crossed the Sea of Galilee, a storm set in. Violent. Sudden. Terrifying. And while the disciples frantically worked to keep the vessel afloat, there was Jesus, asleep in the boat. The disciples woke him and asked: “Teacher, do you not care if we drown?” (Mark 4:38 NIV)
That question might read a little differently for you today:
“Jesus, do you not care that my health is falling apart?”
“Jesus, do you not care that my finances are draining out?”
“Jesus, do you not care that my relationship is in tatters?”
But there is more to the story.
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”
Mark 4:39 NIV
Jesus didn’t join them in their fear. Instead, He looked right at the storm and brought calm. Then, He asked His disciples why they were so afraid: “Do you still have no faith?” (Mark 4:40).
Have you ever faced a challenge so massive, it threatened to overwhelm you? It can be disorienting, terrifying, heartbreaking, even, when the storm sets in and everything suddenly feels bleak in the face of such a strong force against us.
But God went with the disciples because He cared about them. He goes with you because He cares about you.
What storm are you facing today? Take a moment to close your eyes and imagine Jesus, unafraid of the storm, bringing everything to a calm. He is with you. You are not alone in this storm.
please pray for my aunt. she brought home her newborn baby today and almost simultaneously received news that a close friend of hers died. he had an eight year old son. she and i are both worried about her mental state right now. please pray for everyone involved
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
The comfort and love of Christ conquers all sadness and darkness. God has heard every cry and has seen every tear. May she find peace in the arms of Jesus. No better place than that 🩵🌸
One of the most daunting lies the enemy whispers is that you will never change. This often arises during moments of struggle or when facing persistent sin patterns. The enemy points to your past, saying, “This is who you are. You’ll always be this way.” Such statements can lead to feelings of hopelessness and despair, making you feel trapped in a cycle of defeat. You might even begin to believe that your circumstances define you rather than the transformative power of Christ.
However, the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 reveals a profound truth: in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away, and the new has come. This doesn’t mean that change will happen overnight or that you will never face challenges again, but it assures you that God is actively working within you to bring about transformation. The process of becoming more like Christ is ongoing, and it is God’s work in you that enables true change to take place.
Embracing the truth of your identity in Christ means recognizing that your past does not define you. When you stumble or struggle, you don’t need to be discouraged. Instead, lean into God’s grace and the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a testament to God’s transformative power. Remember that while change can be difficult, it is entirely possible with God, who works in and through us for His glory.
When Satan reminds you of your past, remind him his future.
