Feeling a bit emotional so I feel like this needs to be put out there.
Writers who put content out for you all to read, we get nothing from that. We aren’t paid like influencers are, we do it because we enjoy it. The support you give, fuels the writers in ways you can’t imagine. Sometimes, we can sit behind the screens anxiously waiting to see what you guys think of the latest work we published. Sometimes we can be having a terrible day and one message saying how you enjoyed the work can truly make a bad day into a good day. This goes for the artists and video editors as well <33

I can’t put into words on how sweet this is, I’ve a nervous writer so I write a lot when I’ve anxious or feeling emotional. All the effort and feeling that go into my little stories or asks that I get come from the heart, and I always get soooo happy when people just like my work, let alone reblog and share it with people. Or even when they leave a comment that makes my day! Comments and reblogs and asks are the things that keep me going. You all have been so incredibly kind to me, so freaking supportive and it has meant so much during this time.
I’m studying for the USMLE right now and it has been incredibly stressful and mentally exhausting. I’m tired and sad and angry and experiencing all these emotions constantly. I wake up thinking about having to study, and I go to bed thinking about having to wake up and study and how much I didn’t do and don’t know. Anyone who has done medical school knows exactly how I feel.
It’s hard when I want to write but can’t because I don’t have the time or energy. Any time I hear from you all, it means the absolute world to me. To know that my writing has made someone’s day better… it means the world. Writing has forever changed my life. Thank you all for being a part of it.
One writer who I feel is criminally underrated is my Pookie @whisperingmidnights, her writing is literally top tier and incredible. The emotions she is able to capture, the way she keeps you hooked on her story, the way you experience what the character is experiencing… unreal!
I also have to appreciate all these other lovey writers who put out some of the most incredible fics I’ve ever read. @acourtofwhatthefuck and @greeneyedivy who are killing it with Fireleaf. My icon @fieldofdaisiies and my sister @azrielhours who write so beautifully, and of course my bestie @princess-tulip-writes who writes some of the best smut.

Writing has always been a personal thing for me, and it took me quite some time to truly get over my fear of sharing that with others. I had such high anxiety posting my first piece on here, I stared at my draft for an hour before actually posting it.
But gosh, am I so glad I did. Everyone on here has given me such love and support. It has brought me a form of happiness that I never thought I would ever experience. And I've met some really great people. Seeing people enjoy my writing is definitely still something to get used to, but I am so so so so grateful for all the amazing people out there 💕 Words can not express the love I have for all of you!

I feel like I constantly come on here and express how much your support means to me but I don't think you readers and creators know the true extent of what you do.
Like others have said writing in this capacity is in some ways selfless. We spend countless hours planning, interacting, and writing on top of what we do during our normal days. I have always struggled with my mental health and I have a lot of anxiety especially when it comes to things that feel very vulnerable like writing, so when I come on here and see you all reblogging, commenting, liking, sending asks, messages, and just generally interacting with what I post makes me so incredibly happy and it honestly makes everything worth it.
I started posting my work on here about six months ago and to say you all and this community have changed my life is an understatement. I have met so many amazing people on here and I hope to continue to do so (seriously I need more friends so if any of you want to chat send me a message) and this community is so full of love and support and I am truly grateful that I get to be a part of it alongside you.

Like everything said above, writing is what we gift to you guys for no salary, no benefits, just our passion to create stories or add onto ones to bring joy to every person that reads them.
Writing to me is deeply personal, I’ve been doing it since elementary school and I’m now 24 and a full time mom. I love writing. I love writing FOR you guys. I know how important stories can be to get you through tough times, speaking from experience. They offer an entire world for you to escape to and be whoever you want, love whoever you want, and to dream without anything holding you back.
That’s why I write, and I know I’ve probably said that a hundred times but I’ll say it again!! Seeing you guys interact with my fics, at your asks with ideas and happiness, knowing that you’re getting the same, if not more, enjoyment out of reading them as I do writing, it makes it all 100% worth it.

There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color. But, hey, at least it tastes good, right? High five, America!
