so I do think travis was just pretending to be possessed by the ghost of jackie to distract shauna. but in a way that's even funnier because that means he just made an educated guess about the slumber party make-outs and possibly still struck gold anyways.

You know what, based on what we know about Sir Hop-a-Lot, Rancilda could probably survive, like, the only character we actually know he killed was Putrice and he did that to get out of her stomach, everyone else he fights, he just disarms them, points his sword at them and tells them they’re beaten, and he lets them run away

“So, like, I can just… go?”

“What part of ‘you’re beaten’ are you not understanding?”

“I thought you’d kill me.”

“Why on earth would I do that?”

“You killed my sister!”

“Ah, yes. Unfortunate, really, that. Very messy. But I had to get out of her somehow, didn’t I? Now, begone.”

Seeing as the proshot has come out (YIPPIE), I have this headcanon about Ella’s legs post resurrection I would like to share. Essentially it’s this:

After having both of her feet cut off by her stepmother, Ella bled out. Wanting to get her body out of the house, her step mother dumped her rather unceremoniously near where the bodies of Lucy and Justine lay buried; under the tree where the former Lady Ashmore worshipped.

And there she stayed for hours, beginning to rot. That is, until Putrice put on the slippers. As she did so, Ella awoke, rising to see she was in the place her mother once held sacred, where she learned to make her fury righteous. And now awaking to furious starlight running through her veins, the only thing that stopped her from vengeance was her legs. Or rather, the lack of them.

And so she grabbed nearby fallen branches and tinder from the old oak tree and began to construct feet with which she could rise to exact revenge. Held together by the essence of starlight itself, they sparkled somehow even more beautifully than the slippers the Fairy Queen had given her. And thus, she rose glorious in her rage, prepared to exact her revenge.

And here's how I picture them:

Basically with bones of branches and "flesh" of witchglass/starlight.

Additional ideas under the cut:

idk if yall noticed but. "sweet justine and vivacious lucy" are named in reference to justine moritz and lucy westenra. justine moritz, a character in frankenstein, is an innocent young girl hanged for a crime she did not commit, and some adaptations have victor use her body to make the creature a bride. lucy westenra, a character in dracula, is an innocent young girl turned and possessed by dracula whose vampirized body is used to terrorize her former friends. i 100% believe that starkid chose those names for the "young girl who gets killed and turned into a meat puppet" characters on purpose

I think a fundamental difference between book Dracula and Nosferatu is how the protagonists work as a collective. In Dracula, they are the Scooby Gang (trusting, collaborative, polyamorous). In Nosferatu, they are the teens from an 80s slasher (suspicious, deceitful, jealous). The count can be defeated, but only the power of friendship can save Mina.

The dichotomy of Brennan helping with ability score rolls for newer players:

  • Titan Takedown: Preps high-level base stats for the cast, with everyone having a 20 in their two most relevant ability scores and no one really having a genuine dump stat (no one's character has below a 14/+2 modifier in any ability), which allows the players to play to their class strengths and not have to worry about fucking up as much in a shorter, tighter campaign.
  • Fantasy High: Ally Beardsley rolls a 4 for Kristen's Dex and has to live with with the consequences of that for 6+ years

Titan Takedown is a fun contrast to Dungeons and Dragons Queens, because D&DQ had newbies with an incredible sense of fantasy performance, which gave their roleplay scenes a leg up out of the gate, and TT has newbies with an incredible sense of physical performance, so they're very intuitive with combat right away. Like, what a fun way to demonstrate the strengths of both drag queens and wrestlers in their respective fields

Most Dimension 20 seasons are about capitalism in some allegorical way, but Titan Takedown is more explicitly about how it feels to be ruled by the biggest, dumbest assholes of all time.

Also shoutout to the contest winners for Vic's pin sweepstakes who travelled all the way to the Dropout Studios only to find out WHILE THERE that Sam Reich did not know they were coming or that they'd had been promised an appearance on the show (also who had their tour led by an animorphing squid michaelis)
